The 84th anniversary of the July 7th Incident, why do you say that forgetting history means betrayal?
1On the night of July 7, 937, the infantry of the Japanese Fengtai Garrison was very straightforward and led a team to hold an exercise in Lugouqiao, southwest of Beiping. Then suddenly, on the grounds that soldier Shimura Kijiro was missing, he asked to go to the ancient city of Wanping to find someone, but was sternly refused by the defenders in China.

Immediately led a team to attack the ancient city of Wanping and Lugou Bridge, and the defenders of China rose up and the July 7th Incident broke out. This long-planned and targeted armed aggression was the beginning of Japan's full-scale invasion of China. Today, 84 years later, we must clarify some questions about this incident.

1. Is it true that soldier Shimura Kijiro disappeared unexpectedly? At about 8: 40 on the night of the July 7th Incident, China soldiers stationed in the ancient city of Wanping suddenly heard a burst of intensive gunfire, and then they saw a group of Japanese soldiers coming to the gate with weapons. They claimed that a soldier was missing and suspected of entering the ancient city of Wanping, and asked to open the door and search.

At the same time, on the Yongding River levee not far from the ancient city of Wanping, the defenders of China discovered a furtive Japanese soldier. Qi, the platoon leader of the garrison at that time, recalled that after dinner that day, some people said that they saw a Japanese soldier hovering near the station and would not leave when they saw our soldiers. After the last shot, he turned and left.

All kinds of evidence show that this Japanese soldier wandering around the levee is probably the missing private Shimura Kijiro. And before the July 7th Incident broke out, he had already returned to the barracks. However, the Japanese commander Yimu, who got the news, still ordered "resolute war", and Si Mazhao's intentions were well known.

Similar to the disappearance of Shimura Kijiro, there is also the disappearance of the Tibetan book Yingming. 1934, Satoshi Sakamoto, Vice Consul of the Japanese Consulate in Nanjing, received a secret order from his superior and ordered him to commit suicide. Then he tried to blackmail China and launch a war of aggression. As a result, the book collection was wise and afraid of death, and he secretly ran to Zijin Mountain to hide.

As soon as the Japanese army began to negotiate with the Chinese side, Zang Benying Ming was discovered by local villagers, and the Japanese army's plan went bankrupt.

2. Why did the Japanese army choose Lugouqiao as the location of the incident? Lugou Bridge, also known as Lugou Bridge, is located about 30 miles southwest of Beijing. It is named Lugou River because of the Yongding River under the bridge. As early as the Warring States period, the Lugou River Ferry was the main traffic artery of Yanji, and it was also a battleground for military strategists. It is from this bridge that Kelpolo entered Beijing.

On the east side of Lugou Bridge, Wanping Ancient City was built to defend the capital during the Chongzhen period in the late Ming Dynasty. At that time, Beiping was surrounded by Japanese troops on three sides, leaving only China troops stationed in Wanping direction. If Wan Ping misses, the Pinghan line will be cut off by the Japanese side, so the fall of Peiping is a foregone conclusion.

Before the July 7th Incident broke out, the Japanese army often wandered around the ancient city of Wanping in the name of exercises, secretly drawing maps and scouting the terrain. In June, 1937, Tokyo, Japan, it began to be rumored that "an event like the wicker lake of the South Manchuria Railway will be staged in Beiping in July".

In July, the Japanese garrison even pulled the exercise to Longwang Temple, which is only 1000 meters away from the ancient city of Wanping. The wolf's ambition is clear at a glance. Moreover, after the conflict broke out, in the early morning of July 8, the Japanese army attacked the Commissioner's office of Wanping ancient city before dawn and completely blew it up.

According to the official of the office at that time, on the day of the establishment of the office, Yimu, the captain of the Japanese garrison, personally brought people to congratulate him. Although the ancient city of Wanping is only a few miles away from the Japanese garrison, a group of people actually changed their old habit of riding horses and came on foot.

The straightforward man is still wandering around the office. No one can think of it. In fact, they are measuring the terrain of the office with their feet. It can be seen that the Japanese army launched the Lugouqiao Incident with preparation and premeditation.

3. Why does forgetting history mean betrayal? 1937 65438+February, Japanese troops attacked Nanjing Xinhe area. Ni Cuiping's family hasn't made a fire to cook for several days, for fear that the smoke from cooking will attract the Japanese.

"You go to the river at the door to find some rice. Adults can't stand children not eating for a few days! " Ni Cuiping's mother said this to her husband.

Ni Cuiping's father got up and went to the river to wash rice, but he didn't expect to meet the Japanese. When they saw Ni Cuiping's father squatting by the river, he raised his rifle and fired three shots in succession. Ni Cuiping's mother rushed to the door and hugged her husband who fell in a pool of blood before shouting and being shot dead again.

Ni Cuiping was only 1 1 years old. She ran out of the house quickly when she heard the gunshots at the door. She was stunned by this scene and was shot through the shoulder blade by the devil, and she was unconscious.

Later, Ni Cuiping and her uncle lived together during menstruation. A month after the Japanese soldiers entered the city, his uncle was taken away by traitors, and finally he realized that he was regarded as a living target.

Because the wound on the scapula was not treated in time, it later festered and infected, and worms were born. With the help of menstruation, Ni Cuiping took out the bullet with a vise. Since then, Ni Cuiping's hand has left a sequela, and it is difficult to use chopsticks when eating. Every rainy day, pain will bring her back to that unforgettable day. ...

"Because my mother has no milk, my little brother has been crying. It happened that a dozen Japanese troops passed by the dam. They followed the crying and found my mother, trying to rape her. The mother struggled to resist with her brother in her arms. The Japanese soldier grabbed her brother and fell to the ground. Mother threw herself on the ground crying. Japanese soldiers took advantage of the situation and fired two shots at my mother.

Three days later, my father and other men in the village were taken away by the Japanese army. He should be a coolie building turrets, and I haven't heard from him since. Two days later, another group of devils came. They wanted to rape my second sister, who was 1 1 year old. The second sister tried to resist, and a Japanese soldier pulled out his saber and split her in half from the beginning.

In just six days, my family was ruined and orphaned ... "

This is the memoir of Mr. Jiang, a survivor of the Nanjing Massacre. He was just eight years old that year. Jiang Yuan's surname is Xu. There are eight people in his family, and five people died. He and his two younger brothers were adopted by three families respectively and changed their surnames from then on.

1937, 12, 13 in the early morning, Japanese troops invaded Nanjing from Zhonghua Gate. In the following six weeks, 300,000 China people were killed, which is equivalent to one person being killed by a Japanese butcher's knife every 12 second. Can we forget history on their behalf? Can we forgive Ni Cuiping and Jiang's behavior?

Some people say why we always bring up the past, because we are not qualified to forgive that history on their behalf.

"History will not change with the changes of the times, and facts will not disappear because of clever tongue denial." As future generations, if we forget that history, we are betraying our nation. Remember history, be prepared for danger in times of peace, let us pay tribute to the revolutionary predecessors who fought bravely!
