When it comes to Huanggang, the first thing that many people think of is Huanggang Middle School, a desirable educational holy land, and Huanggang cheats that were tortured by it in junior and senior high schools.
At first, I thought that only students from Huanggang or Hubei would want Huanggang secret papers. Later, the university went to the northeast and came to South China after work. When my classmates and colleagues heard that I was from Huanggang, they all said: I was really hurt by Huanggang's secret papers, and I was complaining, but fortunately, I did a lot of problems and learned a lot of problem-solving methods before I could successfully enter the ideal high school or university.
I'm a little uneasy, more proud.
Sadly, everyone's impression of Huanggang, their hometown, basically stays on the secret book of Huanggang. As we all know, Huanggang has a long history and culture.
Huanggang, my hometown, is a holy place of Buddhism, which gave birth to Daoxin, Hongren and Huineng, the fourth ancestor of China Zen, and the world Zen forest gathered here. I remember when I was a child, every year before dawn, my grandparents and I would hike to the highest peak of Wuzu Temple-Bailianfeng, worship Buddha, bow down, hold a handful of hot land and pray for good.
Bi Sheng, the inventor of movable type printing, Li Shizhen, the doctor who wrote Compendium of Materia Medica, and Li Siguang, the giant of geological science, all benefited the people of China.
Wen Yiduo, a patriotic poet and scholar born in Huanggang, once said, "Create happiness as much as possible to fill time, and you can't spend your time with happiness." This sentence has always inspired me to be a positive and optimistic young man.
In my impression, Huanggang, my hometown, is not only famous for its education, but also has a long history, and its scenic spots are not inferior to those of the metropolis. Chibi Dongpo, Tiantangzhai and Taohuachong; Martyrs Memorial Park, Li Xiannian's former residence and memorial hall, Huanggang has both picturesque scenery and admirable revolutionary history.
Walking into the picturesque Chibi Park, I once again appreciate Mr. Dongpo's two poems about Chibi, Niannujiao Chibi Nostalgia. "The river of no return, stormy waves, eternal romantic figures. On the west side of the base, humanity is the Red Cliff of Zhou Lang in the Three Kingdoms. Walking in the Red Cliff of Dongpo is like wandering in the ocean of poetry.
And the Martyrs Memorial Park. Every year, many tourists from both inside and outside the province come to offer flowers in memory of the martyrs.
When I was in primary school, it was in Tomb-Sweeping Day, and the teacher organized us to go to the Martyrs Memorial Park. It happened to rain in Mao Mao that day. I was just a child, and my heart was a little heavy. The martyrs gave their lives for the victory of the motherland. When the director reached the climax, everyone spontaneously put down their umbrellas. What are you afraid of in this rain in Mao Mao?
In my heart, despite being married for a long time, Huanggang is still my favorite hometown, and I hope to dream of returning to my hometown every night. I feel the hometown of poetry and painting again, and my blood is boiling.
