Wanzai Middle School was founded in 1907 (thirty-three years of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty), formerly known as Longhe Academy and Longhe Middle School. 1936, by order of Jiangxi provincial government, Longhe Middle School and Dongzhou Junior Vocational Middle School merged into "Wanzai County Junior Middle School". 1943 A high school was added and renamed as "Wanzai Middle School in Jiangxi Province".
