Tang Gaozong Li Zhi (2 1, 628-65438, February 27th, 683), with a good word, is the ninth son of Emperor Taizong. His mother is Wen Deshun's Saint Queen Stone, and he is the same mother and brother as Prince Li Chenggan and Wang Tai.
In June of the second year of Zhenguan (628), Li Zhi was born in the Li Zhengting Hall of the East Palace. In the fifth year of Zhenguan (63 1), the king of Jin was granted, and the later prince Li Chenggan and the second son Wang Tai were successively abolished. In the seventeenth year of Zhenguan, they were registered as crown princes. In the twenty-third year of Zhenguan, Taizong died, and Prince Li Zhi succeeded Tang Gaozong.
In the first year of Hongdao (683), Tang Gaozong died in Zhenguan Hall at the age of 56 and was buried in Ganling. Temple number Gaozong, Emperor posthumous title. In the eighth year of Tianbao (749), he was promoted to Emperor Sheng Da, and in the thirteenth year of Tianbao (754), he was promoted to Emperor Dahongxiao of Sheng Da.
Wu Zhao, Wu Zetian, was born in Wenshui (now Wenshui County, Shaanxi Province). Politician from Tang Dynasty to Wu Zhou Dynasty, the founding monarch of Wu Zhou Dynasty (reigned from 690 to 705), the only orthodox female emperor in China history, and one of the oldest emperors who acceded to the throne (67 years old) and lived the longest (82 years old).
In the first year of Shenlong (705), Wu Zetian was seriously ill, and Prime Minister Zhang Jianzhi launched the "Shenlong Revolution" to support the restoration of Tang Zhongzong and forced him to abdicate. After the restoration of the Tang Dynasty, Zhongzong was honored as the "Emperor of Heaven". In the same year 1 1 month, Wu Zetian died in shangyang palace at the age of 82. In accordance with his last wish, Zhongzong changed his name to "Zetian Tiansheng Queen" and was buried in Ganling as a queen. Later, she became the "Tianshun Saint Queen".
