People's Daily is the organ newspaper of The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CCCPC). 1948 June 15 was established in Lizhuang, Pingshan County, Hebei Province. It is a merger of Shanxi-Chaji Daily and Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan People's Daily. It is the organ newspaper of North China C.O., and it also undertakes the function of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China organ newspaper. Comrade Mao Zedong personally wrote an inscription for People's Daily. 1949 March 15, People's Daily moved to Beiping with the Central Committee. On August 1 day of the same year, the Central Committee of China * * * decided that People's Daily would be the organ of the Party Central Committee of China * * *, using the serial number of June 1948. 1 People's Daily is the newspaper with the largest circulation in China, and 1992 has been rated as one of the top ten newspapers in the world by UNESCO.
