The Catalogue of Sikuquanshu, also known as the Catalogue Summary of Sikuquanshu, consists of 200 volumes and two volumes. Ji Yun edited Yan Yong in Qing Dynasty. From the thirty-seventh year of Qianlong (1772), the Qing dynasty spent about 10 years, concentrated a lot of manpower and material resources, and compiled a series called Sikuquanshu, which was one of the largest series in the ancient world.
At the time of compilation, the contents of books included in Sikuquanshu (called descriptive books) and books without income (called bibliographic books) were compiled respectively. The content of the book should not only discuss the main idea of each book and the source of the work, but also list the gains and losses of the book in the author column, as well as the logo of "addition and deletion of words and division of articles" After that, these abstracts are classified and compiled into cost books. This book contains 34,665,438+0 books and 79,309 volumes; There are 6793 bibliographies, 9355 1 volume. These books basically include the important works of ancient China before Qianlong (especially the books before Yuan Dynasty are more complete).
This 10254 abstract is arranged in four categories: essence, substance, word and set, and each category is divided into several subclasses.
Some more complex subclasses are subdivided into subheads. The book is divided into 44 sub-categories and 67 sub-titles. Each category and subcategory are in order, and there are comments after the subheadings, which briefly explain the origin of such books and why they are classified into this category. However, it should be noted that when using this book, we should refer to two books: An Analysis of the Summary of Si Ku (Yu Jiaxi, 24 volumes, Zhonghua Book Company 1980 edition) and Supplement to the Summary of Si Ku (Hu Yuyan, 60 volumes, supplement 1 volume, Zhonghua Book Company/kloc-). Because the former researches nearly 500 kinds of ancient books, while the latter researches more than 2,300 kinds of ancient books.
