The factory was established in 1986. This is a small private factory with more than 10 workers. It is located in Yansi Town, Ancient Huizhou District, South Gate of Huangshan Mountain, Anhui Province, and is the birthplace of Cao Sugong's ink number. When we set up the factory, we hired an old technician from Tunxi Hu Kaiwen Ink Factory and inherited the traditional ink-making technology. Most of the products are middle and low-grade practical inks, which are mainly supplied to the domestic market. Some high-grade ultra-fine oil smoke ink, pure sesame oil smoke ink and pure tung oil smoke ink are also exported to more than 30 stores or shopping malls such as Shanghai Ancient Books Bookstore. The factory itself does not produce tobacco materials, and the materials for making ink are all purchased from outside, such as lampblack, pine smoke, bone glue, leather glue, gelatin and so on. The pine smoke material mainly comes from Fujian, and the bone glue is Xihu glue or Bengbu glue.
There is a small amount of old ink in the factory, and the round ink (about 14mm in diameter) displayed in the 1960s has been slightly cracked. Two pieces of Luohansong cigarette ink made in 1950s and 1960s and stored for 80 years, with a height of about 18cm, have all frosted, grayish white and serious cracks.
