Who is Battle of Red Cliffs's strategy of offering fire in the official history of the Three Kingdoms?
In the official history of the Three Kingdoms, Huang Gai was the planner of Battle of Red Cliffs.

Huang Gai (the year of birth and death is unknown) was born in Lingling Spring Ridge (now Lingling District, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province). At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Wu Dong was a famous soldier. He served as Sun Jian, Sun Ce and Sun Quan for three terms.

The cause of Battle of Red Cliffs was that Cao Cao unified the north and attempted to unify the whole country from the south. Later, Liu Bei and Sun Quan joined hands to confront Cao Cao's army in Chibi. As a result, Zhou Yu burned Chibi, Cao Cao's army suffered heavy casualties, and Sun Liu's allied army won a great victory.

Battle of Red Cliffs refers to the battle in which Sun Quan and Liu Bei defeated Cao Cao's army in Chibi (now northwest of chibi city, Hubei Province) on the Yangtze River in the 13th year of Jian 'an in the late Eastern Han Dynasty (2008). This is one of the most famous battles in China's history, and it is the most famous one among the "three major battles" in the Three Kingdoms period.

The history of Huang Gai:

In the 13th year of Jian 'an (208), Zhou Yu resisted Cao Jun in Chibi, facing him across the river. Build a fire attack and send someone to send a fake letter to Cao Cao. Gather dozens of Meng Chong and bucket boats, fill them with firewood soaked in oil, wrap them in curtains and follow them. Driving to the other side, he suddenly set fire to Cao Jun's ships and barracks, defeated Cao Jun, and promoted Wufeng as a corps commander.

Soon, Wuling rebelled against the barbarians and attacked the city. Huang Gai took 500 men, let half of them go in, stopped the waist and beat the thief to pieces. Spring has gone and summer has come, but chaos has passed. Later, he begged mountain thieves in yiyang county, Changsha, and added partial generals. The official is partial to the general, and Wuling is the satrap. There is a yellow handle.
