An -225
An -225 is the world's largest six-engine turbofan heavy transport aircraft developed by Antonov Design Bureau of the former Soviet Union (now Antonov Aviation Science and Technology Consortium of Ukraine), which is used to transport space shuttles, rocket launcher components and other large cargo outside the aircraft. 1design research began in the middle of 1985, and1988+February 2 1 day the prototype made its first flight. 1May 1989 13 completed the first flight of the space shuttle "Blizzard" with shoulder straps. So far, only 1 frame has been produced.
In the late 1990s, this plane was modified by Antonov Aviation Science and Technology Consortium and Ukrainian Motor-Sych Company to meet international aviation standards. The renovation plan costs $20 million. The sea trial was successful in May of 200 1 year.
Because an -225 is added on the basis of an-124, it is similar to an-124 in many places. Compared with An-124, the wingspan is lengthened, the cargo hold length is increased, the rear loading ramp/hatch is cancelled, and the total weight and payload of the aircraft are increased by 50%. In order to avoid the airflow interference when the back of the fuselage bears external load, the vertical tail is changed from single vertical tail to double vertical tail. In order to transport large goods on the back of the machine, there are two bearing fulcrums above the fuselage. The landing gear * * * has 32 wheels, which is two pairs more than the main landing gear on each side of An-124. Two engines were added in the middle of the wing.
