Zotye's sub-brand Ma Jun Automobile is independent of Zotye in operation, but Zotye still has great influence on them. Last year, Ma Jun Auto broke out negative news such as unpaid wages, rights protection of dealers, shutdown and bankruptcy. One year has passed, and we haven't received any news about Ma Jun cars, and there is no authoritative statement about their current situation.

As for Hanteng Automobile, which is also a subsidiary of Tieniu Group, there has also been a serious decline in sales in 2020. Lack of technology is equivalent to waiting for death.

However, after becoming famous, Zotye was immersed in the twisted joy of success, saying that to start on the road of independent research and development, it was essentially to continue to play pimping and continue to dismantle other people's cars for so-called technical research, and did not really make up his mind to invest in independent research and development.

Although the core technology can't guarantee that you are invincible, without it, you won't last long in the highly competitive domestic automobile market. Zotye's opportunism finally ruined its own development prospects and lacked core technology, which was equivalent to giving the dominant position of survival to competitors. Today's new car-making forces should also learn from Zotye.
