Zheng He (China Ming Dynasty navigator, diplomat and eunuch)

Zheng He (137 1 year-1433), a Hui eunuch, was originally named Ma, and was also a human being. He is from Zhi Dai Village, Baoxiang Mountain, Kunyang, Yunnan (now Kunyang Street, Jinning). China was a navigator and diplomat in the Ming Dynasty.

Zheng He was born in Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (137 1). He is the second son of Maha, and Zheng He has four sisters. In the winter of the 13th year of Hongwu (138 1), the Ming army attacked Yunnan. Ma He was only ten years old and was taken to Nanjing by Lan Yu, deputy commander-in-chief of Ming Army. After castrating him, he entered Judy's Yanwangfu. In the first year of Yongle (1403), Yao Daoyan and the monk accepted Ma as disciples of the Bodhisattva Ring, and the dharma name was Fu Jixiang.

During the Jingnan Rebellion, Ma He made a meritorious military service for Judy, the Prince of Yan, in Zhengzhou, Hebei Province (now Renqiu, Hebei Province, not Zhengzhou, Henan Province, and now Dongba Village, Beijing). In the second year of Yongle (1404), in order to commemorate his meritorious service, Ming Taizu gave Ma and Zheng two surnames in Nanjing Imperial Book, which was called Zheng He in history. In the supervision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he was promoted to eunuch, with four products, ranking second only to Silijian. Zheng He was resourceful and learned how to fight. Ming Chengzu trusted Zheng He very much. From 1405 to 1433, Zheng He made seven voyages to the Western Ocean, which made great achievements in human history. In the sixth year of Xuande (143 1), Zheng He was made a three-treasure eunuch. In April of the eighth year of Xuande (1433), Zheng He died in Guri on the west coast of India and was buried in Niushou Mountain in Nanjing.

Zheng He took in the eldest son of his eldest brother Ma as his official residence. His name is Zheng Wenming, and his word is Enlai. He lives in Mafu, Sanshan Street (now Mafu Street) in Nanjing. During the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom in the Qing Dynasty, Ma Fu was destroyed by the war, and there was nothing at home. The descendants of Zheng He have been passed down to 2 1 generation.
