First, the Eighth National Congress of the Communist Party of China correctly analyzed the changes of major domestic contradictions after the socialist transformation was basically completed by applying Marxism–Leninism Principles and combining the reality of China's revolution and construction, and made a strategic decision to shift the focus of the Party's work to socialist economic construction.
The Eighth National Congress of communist party, China, after analyzing the completion of the three major transformations and the great changes in the main domestic contradictions, came to the conclusion that the socialist system has been basically established in China, and the main domestic contradictions are no longer the contradictions between the proletariat and the bourgeoisie.
