Yang Naiwu [1] (1841—1914), male, is known as Mr. Yang Er because he is the second child. Yuhang, Zhejiang. Juren in Tongzhi period. 1873 was framed for adultery with Bi Xiugu (nicknamed Pakchoi) and killed her husband. After the trial, she admitted her guilt and was sentenced to death. Later, due to several in-depth interviews with Shenbao, the case shocked the capital. Although they were acquitted after several trials, the tragic experience of these two people being tortured is still unspeakable. The case was later adapted into drama, pingtan, film, TV series Yang Naiwu and Chinese Cabbage and the novel Survivor, which was widely circulated. This case is known as one of the "Four Mysteries in the Late Qing Dynasty".
