Yishui County belongs to Linyi City, Shandong Province. It is the northern sub-center of Linyi City and an ecological landscape city. Located in the south-central part of Shandong Province, in the hinterland of Yimeng Mountain, in the upper reaches of yi river and Shuhe River. Juxian county in the east, Yiyuan and Mengyin in the west, Yinan in the south and Anqiu and Linqu in the north. With a total area of 2434.8 square kilometers, it ranks second among the county-level administrative divisions in the province. It has jurisdiction over 2 streets, 16 townships, 1 economic development zone, 1 Yimeng scenic spot and 359 rural communities. The county government is located in Yicheng street. Yishui has a long history, and the Qin Dynasty set up a county here. In AD 16 (AD 596), Huang Kai was named Yishui County in Sui Dynasty. Yishui in modern times is a famous old revolutionary base area, the hometown of "red sister-in-law" and one of the birthplaces of Yimeng spirit.
20 14, 12 was rated as "National Demonstration County of Tourism Standardization" by China National Tourism Administration on June 2nd, becoming the first demonstration county of tourism standardization in Shandong Province. In July of the same year, Yishui in Linyi was recognized as the "Millennium Ancient County" of China's geographical name cultural heritage. 20 18 was awarded the honorary title of "20 18 rural e-commerce comprehensive demonstration county" by the Ministry of Commerce on September 25th. 20 18 and 10 were selected as the top 100 counties and cities in China in 20 18 in terms of investment potential, green development, scientific and technological innovation and new urbanization quality.
