Wanfo Temple is located on Baiyun Mountain in the east of Lizhen Village, Li Du Town. According to the inscription, the temple was built in the 16th year of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty (AD 638), with a grand building scale. The main buildings are Buddha Hall, Laojun Hall, Confucian Temple, Lvzu Hall, Guandi Hall, Wei Tuo Hall, Jiuxiangu Hall, Dragon Palace, Flower Bed and Taishan Temple. Most of the buildings were destroyed during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period. When Japan invaded China, Japanese militarism forced local people to destroy forts, bathhouses and playgrounds built by temples, which became an excellent negative teaching material for people to carry out patriotic education. Up to now, 16 stone carvings of Ming and Qing dynasties have been preserved in the former site of the temple, which is of great historical research value. There are also two iron mines mined in the Song Dynasty in Baiyun Mountain, which have certain reference value for studying the smelting history of China. It is a county-level cultural relics protection unit.
