The Monroe Buddhist Temple in Xishuangbanna was restored and rebuilt on the original site of the ancient Dai royal temple "Jingpiao Buddhist Temple". "Jingpiao Buddhist Temple" was built by King Bolong in Dai history to commemorate the death of Wang Feinan. According to historical records, "Jingpiao Buddhist Temple" was founded in the Ming Dynasty, which is one of the landmark buildings symbolizing the 12th Banna in Southern Buddhism and an important place for Buddhist activities in Banna. The building was destroyed by war in 2883 (AD 1848, Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty).

The Buddhist temple was rebuilt in 2005, and a large-scale groundbreaking ceremony was held on March 9, 2005, and the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Daxiong Hall was held on May 9, 2005. In the process of building the Hall of the Great Hero, a large number of silver coins, silver boxes and Buddhist sacrificial supplies were unearthed. The scenic spot takes the life of Buddha Sakyamuni and the activities of Buddhist temples as the main line, blends into the landscape and architectural groups, and displays the historical and traditional cultural colors of Southern Buddhism. The hot springs in Gasa are divided into Mansai Hot Springs and Gasa Hot Springs. Mansai Hot Spring is located on the edge of Mansai Village, about 65,438+0 Li west of Gazazhang Station.
