Who is the youngest imperial concubine in the history of China?
Zhang Yan, written by Sima Zhen in the Tang Dynasty, mentioned that Huangfu Mi in the Western Jin Dynasty called Queen Zhang "Zhang Yan". "Han Gong Chun" recorded Zhang Daming, Zi, Xiao Zi Shu Jun [1]. The credibility is in doubt. She is the daughter of Princess Luyuan and Wang Zhao Zhang Ao, the queen of Liu Ying, the fifth emperor of the Han Dynasty, and the first virgin queen in history. She died in BC 163. After Zhang's death, his subjects built a temple for her, offered sacrifices regularly and respected her as a saint. Zhang Qian is the daughter of Princess Luyuan, the sister of Emperor Liu Ying of Han Hui and Zhang Ao of Xuanping [2-3], that is, the niece of Emperor Hui of Han Dynasty, whose ancestral home is Daliang (now Kaifeng, Henan). In BC 192, Zhang Yan's grandmother Lv Hou made Zhang Yan, who was only twelve years old, the queen of Emperor Hui of Han Dynasty. Lv Hou hopes that Zhang Yan can have children, but because Zhang Yan is too young, she tries her best to get pregnant. Lv Hou then designed and taught her to pretend to be pregnant, and then forcibly took away Gong Liu, the son of Emperor Hui of Han Dynasty, and lied that she was born in Zhang Qian [4], and killed Gong Liu's biological mother, making Gong Liu the Crown Prince. [5-6] In BC 188, Emperor Hui of Han Dynasty died, and Zhang Qian's adopted son Gong Liu succeeded to the throne, which was called the former emperor in history. Therefore, Lv Hou is still called the Empress Dowager and lives in the imperial court, while Zhang Qian is not called the Empress Dowager, and the world is called the Empress Xiaohui.
