Four grottoes: Dunhuang-Mogao Grottoes, Datong-Yungang Grottoes, Luoyang-Longmen Grottoes and Tianshui-Maijishan Grottoes.

Mogao grottoes is located 25 kilometers southeast of Dunhuang.

There are 49 caves/kloc-0 in front of Mingsha Cliff at the east foot of Daquangou River in Dunhuang City, with 45.00 square meters of murals and more than 2,400 sculptures. The largest existing "world art treasure house" in the world.

Yungang Grottoes is one of the four famous "Buddhist Grottoes Art Treasures" in China, located about 16 kilometers west of Datong. There are 53 existing caves, most of which were built during the Northern Wei Dynasty from 460 to 494, with more than 5 1000 stone carvings. It extends from east to west for one kilometer and can be divided into three groups.
