Historical reincarnation
In Ming Dynasty, Feng Menglong recorded a story in Shi Yu Yan Ming, saying that Han Xin was reincarnated as Cao Cao and Liu Bang was reincarnated as Emperor Xian of Han Dynasty. Because Liu Bang killed heroes Han Xin, Ying Bu, Peng Yue and others, it was tit for tat. In the next life, the inheritance of Emperor Xian of Han Dynasty was taken away by Cao Cao, Liu Bei and Sun Quan.

This story comes from the Ming Dynasty novelist Feng Menglong's Breaking the Prison of Si Mazhao. The story tells the story of Sima Yi, a gifted scholar, who was dissatisfied with the darkness of society and the injustice of fate at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty. He complained and wrote a complaint to disturb the jade emperor, trying to cure him. Later, he pleaded for Taibai Venus, because he wrote in his poem "If I were Yamaraja, everything would be corrected", so he was asked to be a Yamaraja for a long time and let the underworld rest in peace. Sima yi took the case, see the case of the early Han dynasty. Han Xin, Peng Yue and Ying Bu accused Liu Bangqu of killing loyal ministers. Ding announced that Liu Bangen would bite the hand that feeds him, Mrs. Qi sued Lu for seizing power, and Xiang Yu sued six people, including four major historical cases. So he called a bunch of people such as Mao. After questioning all the witnesses and asking about the factual basis, he made the following judgment:

Han Xin was reincarnated as Cao Cao, Peng Yue was reincarnated as Liu Bei, Ying Bu was reincarnated as Sun Quan, and Liu Bang was reincarnated as Emperor Xian of Han Dynasty, so that the heroes killed by Liu Bang could avenge Emperor Xian of Han Dynasty in the afterlife. Mrs. Qi and his son were harmed by Lv Hou, so they were reborn as Mrs. Gan and Mrs. Dou, enjoying all the splendor, and the reborn as Queen Fu was killed by Cao Cao, so that Xiang Yu changed his surname without changing his name. Guan Yu and Lv Matong dismembered Xiang Yu in Wujiang River. Guan Yu killed them to get away. Xiao He was one of the accomplices in killing Han Xin. In the afterlife, Yang Xiu was killed by Cao Cao, Kuai Tong had outstanding ingenuity, Zhuge Liang was reincarnated, Ding Gong was reincarnated as Zhou Yu, Xiang Bo and Yong Chi were enemies of Xiang Yu, Wen Chou Yan Liang was killed by Guan Yu in the afterlife, Ji Xin was reincarnated as Zhao Yun, Zhang Fei and Pang Tong as Xu Fu, who was not sure about Han Xin's divination.

The Jade Emperor decided to be Sima Yi in the afterlife and annexed the Three Kingdoms. This novel promotes the Buddhist concept of reincarnation, and good and evil will eventually be rewarded. Because of the strange imagination, many places are cleverly buckled, which is very interesting to read.
