According to the records of Qing history, in the fifth year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (1727), the land changed to flow for the second time (in the thirty-eighth year of Kangxi, that is, 1699, a flow officer was set up), and E Ertai, the governor of Yunnan and Guizhou, played on the court and said: Dongchuan House (now Huize County). Fuya, the former site of Huize Hotel and county government) "East to Wusha (now Weining, Guizhou), west to Huili (now Huili, Sichuan), south to Xundian (now Xundian, Yunnan), north to Wumeng (now Zhaotong, Yunnan), 400 miles from east to west, 370 miles from north to south, and more than 1,700 miles from Fiona Fang. ..... After back to the stream, still belong to the sixth battalion, all eyes fierce. The autumn harvest has come and needs to be robbed. Therefore, after 30 years of land reform, it still belongs to Tujue. ..... this place is very big. Battalion commander and gang commander (Battalion commander and gang commander: the staff department under the chieftain, commonly known as Mutu, with the titles of battalion commander, gang commander and thousand households, all of which are hereditary) encroached on farmland, shared money and grain, even robbed and killed foreigners, and kidnapped the poor. It was really not a magistrate, nor was it an experience (experience: official name, official cashier's documents, positive eight products). The first battalion of Chaqiao family approached Wumeng and went to Fuyuan (rudder rudder, which means far away), and was trampled by the chief of Uzbekistan. There should be a county, and Ma Shu, crossbow, Miliangba and Yitai flood. " Yong Zhengdi approved E Ertai's memorial, and decided to add a county to Dongchuan Prefecture, with the county name "Huize", to administer Longge (now the seat of Qiaojiaying township government). The following year, due to the remoteness of Longge and the inconvenience of administration and tax collection, Huize County was moved from Longge to Guo Fu, Dongchuan County (now the east of Huize County Education Bureau, the former site of the county court), forming the same city pattern of Dongchuan County and Huize County.
What is the original intention of the name of Huize County?
First, Huize County was named Huang Shijie, and served as the magistrate of Dongchuan for five years in Yongzheng of Qing Dynasty, but its origin and significance were not explained at that time. Yi Ning, who was the magistrate of Dongchuan from 19th to 23rd year of Qianlong (1754- 1758), explained in the book "New River Water Mill": "The name of the building is Dongchuan, and the name of the county is Huize. Ordinary (hope) lives up to the Tao (morality, right path) as the name suggests. " Here "Hui" and "Hui" are interlinked, meaning "Hui Ze is for the people".
Secondly, the changes of Dongchuan Fucheng and the establishment of Huize County (see Yunnan historical records) contain the word "Hui", and Guangya Record: "Hui: Juye." "Er Ya" Note: "Hui: he ye." However, this word "Hui" is related to the neighboring Huili House (Nanzhao Huichuan Dudufu), except for the accident of reunion. Huize County belongs to Dongchuan since ancient times. When the place name of Dongchuan was Nanzhao, Meng Shilong, the king of Nanzhao, was named after Dongchuan County (see the annals of all nations), that is, it came from Nanzhao "east of Huichuan viceroy" and was called "Dongchuan". Notes to Ze and Guangya: "Ze: leafpool." It means lakes and swamps. Huize also has "Hyman" and "Zhejiang Sea". But neither of these meanings has anything to do with rivers and streams. Yongzheng's "Yunnan Tongzhi Volume One Illustration" notes: "Dongchuan: left for, right for Zhuo, built for the house." Fuzhi is located in the land of Huize, hence the name of the county. Therefore, "Huize" is not "a few waters meet", but because it is located in the east of Huichuan Dufu, and the government is under the jurisdiction of Linze.
Thirdly, it is widely circulated in the local area that the name of Huize County is formed by the intersection of several mountain streams around Jinzhong Bazi and Yili River, so it means "several waters meet to form a river".
On the Author of Huize
First, Yining, the magistrate of Dongchuan, said that "Huize belongs to the people" is "Hui", which coincides with mine. The explanation of "Ze", Enze and Deze. For the second time, Yongzheng changed the country to the local government, abolished six battalion commanders and nine regiments, and established a local government. Officials were appointed by the court and directly controlled. "Zebei will (be: and) give birth to people then", so it is called "Huize" and should be extended.
Secondly, the article "The Changes of Dongchuan Prefecture in Past Dynasties and the Establishment of Huize County" says that "Huichuan is the capital of the government, and the government governs Linze". Although Huichuan and Huize are geographically connected, they have never been affiliated. In addition, "Huichuan is the capital of the government" and "Huize County" were first established during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty, and the two dynasties were separated by thousands of years.
Thirdly, the local saying that "several mountain streams around Huize Bazi meet with Yili River to form Hyman" is too narrow or biased.
The author thinks that the original intention of Huize name should be investigated in combination with the historical background and specific geographical location of Huize County.
In the fifth year of Yongzheng (1727), Qiaojiaying in Yudong Chuanfu, Huize County was first built, which is an indisputable historical fact. "meeting", meeting, gathering; "Ze" is a depression where water gathers. The lowest elevation of Weiqiaojia in Dongchuan Prefecture is only 517m, which is named after the confluence of Jinsha River, Niulan River, Xiaojiang River, Yili River, Huitong River and Heishui River. This is the original intention of "Huize".
According to the geographical information of Huize County 192 1 year in Yunnan Province, Huize "will meet with the Jinsha River in Bigu, Niulan River in Chehongjiang and Jinsha River at the junction with Ludian, so it is named Huize". "Yunnan Historical Records Volume Four Construction" contains: "In the fifth year of Yongzheng, Qiaojiaying was established in Huize County at the beginning, in order to levy grain unchanged and seek to change Guo." (Attached Guo: a place near the city; Suburb. The following year (1728), the administration of Huize County was moved from Qiaojialongge to the western suburbs of Dongchuan Fucheng, forming a pattern of the same city among counties. Therefore, the author believes that today's "Huize" is renamed. Similarly, the name of Dongchuan in Dongchuan District of Kunming was also changed.
