Highland barley wine has a history of 1300 years. The original name of highland barley wine is actually because the place of origin is called "Weiyuan shochu". The original Weiyuan shochu was produced in Weiyuan Town, Tu Autonomous County. The local people brewed highland barley wine with sweet spring water as the raw material for entertaining guests, but later it was developed that highland barley was better than barley, so it was called highland barley wine from now on.
