Now the Maigao Bridge outside the central gate of Nanjing is very lively. After the subway is completed and opened to traffic, it will become the Xinjiekou in the north of the city. But historically, Maigao Bridge was a desolate and uninhabited place.
According to legend, during the Hongwu period, Ma Sanshao, the nephew of Ma Niangniang who lived there, bullied others. One day, he robbed a pregnant young woman from the countryside to be a concubine. The young woman had to endure humiliation for the sake of her children. After giving birth to the baby, she threw herself into the well. The attendant's maid was very moved and took on the responsibility of loving her mother, taking the children out of the tiger's mouth at night. It is difficult to walk because of her weak feet. When I walked to the barren mountain path, I met an old man leaning on a dozen sticks, and the maid told me the truth. The old man is a poor scholar. Deeply moved by this, he took his mother and son home. Because the maid is not a real girl and there is no milk to feed her, she has to cross a dangerous bridge to buy cakes every day. One day when crossing the bridge, she fell under the bridge and was disabled for life. The child named "Baoxiang" is growing up. At the age of five, he learned his life experience from a scholar and decided to study hard. After studying as a scholar, he studied hard for eight years and was among the best in the first provincial examination. Three years later, he was awarded the title of "Xie Yuan". When I arrived in Ming Taizu, I moved the capital to Beijing, and entered Beijing to take the exam, ranking first again. On the same day, I went back to visit my mother on a starry night. At this time, my mother was dying and struggled to say that the achievements were the result of the villagers' care and training. We should do good for the local people and build a bridge for everyone to walk. After Baoxiang nodded in agreement, her mother closed her eyes. Soon, the bridge was built, and the villagers unanimously named it Maigao Bridge (homophonic for buying cakes) to commemorate this loving mother. Although the bridge no longer exists, the place names have been used to this day.
Wende bridge
Wende bridge
Shili Qinhuai, which flows into the section of Confucius Temple, was previously named Lishe Bridge. Later, because it was abandoned, Wendeqiao suddenly changed from an ugly duckling to a white swan, although Wendeqiao has long been famous.
Literature carries virtue, and virtue carries things. It seems that this bridge is famous all over the world, but God has no eyes. Its fame does not spread far and wide, but it only comes from the peacock's ass. This is not a dress that washes away the lead and shows the Millennium Cang Sang. In the opposite direction, the most famous and popular two-part allegorical saying: "Wende Bridge railing-unreliable" was exposed.
Wende Bridge was built in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty. Later rebuilt, stone and wood exchanged. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, especially during the Dragon Boat Festival in the 30th year of Guangxu (1904), there were many accidents of bridge railings collapsing. When the citizens were in high spirits, the railing of the bridge broke and the bridge collapsed, causing hundreds of people to fall into the water. At that time, the adults cried and played tricks.
Historically, Wende Bridge was located on the meridian of the sundial because of its special position and structure. Every year, around midnight on 1 1 month 15, you can see the left and right moons on the Qinhuai River in the east and west of the bridge, which is the origin of the "Half Moon in Wende Bridge". This natural wonder has attracted countless tourists to live here. Wu, a writer in the Qing Dynasty, once strolled the Wende Bridge on this night when he lived in Nanjing. Seeing this spectacle, he was so passionate that he couldn't help reciting a poem: "Tourists are detained at the end of the world. This night is a beautiful night, but it is not a full moon for people."
During the Cultural Revolution, the bridge was still a wooden structure, so it could only climb stairs. After the wind and rain, a big gap appeared at the joint. Many railings at the fence are rotting, and the bridge is simply painted, which seems to leave only people and carts. Large vehicles are absolutely not allowed to take this road.
Earlier, there was a Confucius Temple food market on the left side of the northern end of the bridge, which was quite large and prosperous. It seems to be the largest non-staple food market in the south of the city. On the right side of the southern end of the bridge, there is a small restaurant next to Dazhao wall, which was changed into the most fashionable "workers, peasants and soldiers" hotel during the Cultural Revolution. After filing with the right hand, it was connected to Dashiba Street, a red light district before liberation (southerners in the old city often read it as "18" mouth, but later it was mistaken by a small reporter as a very beautiful relic of an ancient well in the well site, not "Xie Wang". Now they are still hung together and placed in a corner of a fake Wuyi Lane, which is "grandstanding" to attract inexperienced tourists.
According to information, it is located in the Confucius Temple on the Qinhuai River in Chi Pan. At both ends, Shibuya Street and Kuiguang Pavilion in Chi Pan used to be full of food. The night is brightly lit as day, although waiters and bartenders also smell of smoke and water from the Six Dynasties, so every tourist says, "The soul is broken."
The bridge is always a connecting tool, and Wende Bridge is often my only place to go, because there is a favorite person living in Wuyi Lane under the bridge. We often walk hand in hand on the bridge, talking about the flowers and plants of Suzaku, remembering the flowers in the backyard, and absorbing the moisture of the Six Dynasties. Although it is not a broken soul, it seems that we have been down and out for it.
However, in real life, the evergreen tree of love runs counter to the notoriety of this bridge, and an anecdote suddenly came to my mind. Those days, my girlfriend's friends came to see her, and the close friends in the boudoir always had endless whispers. On a whim, I forgot to wait for my boyfriend at the bridge on a rainy day, but after Tan Xing was incisively and vividly, I suddenly remembered her in the rain, running all the way, and found him still standing in the rain, watching the wind and rain.
My friend's boyfriend later became a high-ranking official, but the scum's wife never left, loving each other like a guest, respecting each other like a guest, and holding hands with him until he is old, just like the railing of Wendeqiao now-reliable.
Really, a bridge is a novel, which records the memories buried in people's hearts, including sadness, joy, true feelings and true meaning. The smoke and water in the Six Dynasties have been constantly dense in the course of history, and there is a kind of sublimation and freedom.
Wende Bridge is not just a bridge in memory!
