Tickets for the Black Dragon Beach Scenic Spot in Renshou County are free. 1986, approved by Sichuan Provincial People's Government, is the first batch of provincial-level scenic spots in Sichuan. Heilongtan Scenic Area is an artificial lake with a circumference of 160 km, a length of 32 km from north to south, a water surface of 23 square kilometers and a storage capacity of 360 million cubic meters. Black Dragon Beach has a wide lake with 72 islands with winding coasts and trees.

Heilongtan Scenic Area is located in the humid monsoon climate zone in the middle subtropical zone, with rich forest vegetation and vast water surface to regulate air and temperature, which makes Heilongtan Scenic Area have superior climatic conditions, no severe cold and heat, good water, atmosphere and environment quality, fresh air and moderate rainfall.

Located at the northern end of Heilongtan Scenic Area, it consists of Longyan, Giant Buddha, Wuliqiao and Daliangzi. Legend has it that the real Taiyi stopped here to kill Longyan and got the name of Taiyi Dam. Daliangzi Mountain (Island), with an area of 85 hectares, is the largest of the 85 islands in Heilongtan Scenic Area. The headless dragon with a length of 10 meters is engraved on the rock wall near the water, and the word "dragon wall" after ten thousand years is engraved. There are Maitreya statues and inscriptions carved in the Tang Dynasty, and the stones on both sides of the Buddha statue are the wonders of splashing bamboo and water.
