Why is Bozhou called the evil of the earth?
Bozhou is called evil for two main reasons.

First of all, Bozhou has a long history and is one of the birthplaces of ancient culture in China. In the long historical evolution, Bozhou bears many mysterious legends and stories, and one of them is called the earth demon. It is said that in Bozhou, people often encounter some mysterious phenomena that are difficult to explain, such as some unusual weather phenomena, mysterious buildings and some strange creatures, which are classified as "earth evils" by local people.

Secondly, the topography of Bozhou also contributed to this mysterious atmosphere. None of the main trunk roads in Bozhou is a standard east-west or north-south road, which makes people feel difficult to understand and further consolidates the title of Bozhou as an "evil place".

However, it should be pointed out that these legends and stories do not necessarily have scientific explanations, and some may just be people's interpretation or expression of unknown things.
