Romguela is 25km from Yavuzeli and 62km from Gaziantep. Although the exact history of Hermograd is unknown, it is believed that it was built in the late Hittite Empire, about 840 BC. Some people think that Christians in the Roman Empire set Hermograd as the center of Christianity and tried to spread Christianity to Hermograd and its surrounding areas. It is also said that Johanna of Jesus kept the Bible manuscript in Hermograd and later brought it to Beirut, thus making Hermograd a holy place for Christianity. After the Crusaders were defeated and expelled from this area, Muslims occupied Maugras and its surrounding areas. Therefore, in this area and the castle, there are many relics of the Islamic period in Turkey. In the castle, you can see the artistic features of Ilan, Turkey and an abandoned mosque.
