In feudal history, the emperor was the statue of the Ninth Five-Year Plan and had supreme authority. As the saying goes: the world is big, is it the land of kings? Indeed, few people are above the emperor.
Because of the emperor's unique position, it is always a very troublesome thing to restrain the emperor's power.
Any power needs to be restrained. In modern society, we have the rule of law. In feudal society, things were not so simple.
The emperor is human and makes mistakes. With secular desires, their behavior is bound to be flawed.
Therefore, the emperor invented an artifact to restrain his power, one of which is the Fang Jian that we are all familiar with.
The other three are less common:
Whip the king
Whipping the king was widely used in Tang and Song Dynasties. They are generally sharp weapons given by former kings to ministers entrusted with orphans, and weapons used by ministers to educate and teach young emperors.
Leading crutch
In Song Dynasty, it was She Taijun who used crutches. In Yang Jiajiang TV series, we can see that although She Taijun is old, she is still in her prime. She is on crutches, and her spirit is extraordinary. The leading crutch is the result of their family's great achievements in resisting foreign aggression and maintaining the rule of the feudal dynasty, representing glory and status.
Longtouqi
She Taijun is holding a crutch with a faucet. The faucet spear was used by Bao Zheng in Song Dynasty. Bao Zheng, also known as Bao Heizi, invented the dragon spear, tiger spear and dog spear, which were used to attack the emperor, contain the powerful ministers in the DPRK, and cut down the bullies who bullied the people. Among them, the dragon spear was designed for emperors.
