When did China make cars?
China built the first car in 193 1.

100 years ago, with the birth of the first car in the world, many countries developed and produced their own cars. In modern China, it was Sun Yat-sen who first proposed the establishment of China automobile industry. He said in the book "General Plan for the Founding of the People's Republic of China": "Automatic cars are invented in modern times and are necessary for quick action." During the Republic of China, there were ideas and actions to establish the automobile industry.

It was finally shattered by the Japanese war of aggression against China. When People's Republic of China (PRC) was founded, there was no automobile manufacturing industry in China, but only a few small enterprises engaged in automobile maintenance and auto parts manufacturing, with a weak foundation. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), the automobile maintenance and parts manufacturing industry was restored and expanded, and the automobile industry was planned. ?

1929, Zhang Xueliang invested 800,000 yuan to build a car in Ming Sheng factory organized by Shenyang Mortar Factory. At the same time, he asked Li Yichun to buy a complete car "Xue Rui" from the United States for disassembly and research. Li Yichun dismantled the whole car, and then redesigned and manufactured other parts except the rear axle of the engine, electrical devices and tires.

After two years, the first car in China was finally successfully trial-produced, named Minsheng brand 75 truck, 1.8T, and it took one year to load 10. It pioneered China's self-made cars, but it could not be mass-produced because of the September 18th Incident.

1In April, 958, the first domestic car in China history was born in FAW, and it was named "Dongfeng", which originated from President Mao Zedong's famous judgment on the world situation at that time: "Dongfeng overwhelms the west wind". The domestic CA-7 1 Dongfeng brand car was successfully trial-produced in the machine shop and officially rolled off the assembly line. The production number is CA-7 1, where CA is the code of the manufacturer China FAW, 7 is the code of the car, and 1 represents the first car.

Although the original design was based on imitation policy, the prototype still retains many national styles. The car is a six-seat streamlined body, the upper part is silver gray and the lower part is purple red. Equipped with hot and cold wind lanterns and palace lanterns with ethnic style. There is a small golden dragon decoration on the front upper part of the hood, and the maximum power of the engine is 70 horsepower.

The top speed can reach128km, and the fuel consumption per 100km is 9 9- 10/0l. In fact, only one Dongfeng brand car has been produced, and now it is in the FAW Automobile Museum.
