1, yuan Zhen

Yuan Zhen fell in love with Cui Yingying at first sight at the Pujiu Temple in Zhou Pu, and privately decided for life. A few months later, Yuan Zhen went to Beijing to take the exam, ignored Cui Yingying and married Wei Cong, the daughter of a senior official.

When Wei Cong died of illness, Yuan Zhen was so sad that he wrote a series of mourning poems for his dead wife. Among them, "once the sea was difficult for water, but it was always amber" was even regarded as an eternal story with a single heart and a special liking. However, in the same year, Yuan Zhen met Xue Tao, a gifted scholar and a beautiful woman. Two years later, Yuan Zhen was still concubinage in Jiangling Prefecture.

2. Zhu

It is recorded in the novel Jing Zhe of Ming Dynasty that Zhu arrested Yan Rui, a prostitute related to Tang, in order to impeach Tang, in order to get a confession and achieve the purpose of impeaching Tang to step down. Yan Ruining, a prostitute, would rather die than follow, and things even reached the ears of the emperor. Later, the case was handed over to Yue Lin, the descendant of Yue Fei, and Yan Rui was acquitted except for her record.

Zhu's struggle with people in officialdom is understandable, but the means he uses are really despicable.

"History of Song Dynasty" is thirty-seven years: monitoring the suggestion that Shen Jizu disintegrated Zhu, wrote a letter to Luo Mige, and stopped the palace view.

This passage records the impeachment of Zhu by Shen Jizu, the supervisor of the Southern Song Dynasty, in December of the second year of Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1 196).

Shen Jizu listed Zhu's top ten crimes, including accusing Zhu of "disrespect for the elderly" and lewdness. Once, he lured two nuns to be concubines, and when he went out to be an official, he also took him to the streets. His daughter-in-law became pregnant after her husband's death, which was suspected to be caused by "Weng's daughter-in-law collecting ashes" ...

Accordingly, Shen Jizu advocated beheading Zhu. This is the famous "Qingyuan Party Case" in history. Later, Zhu Xiang admitted the above things, such as "the personal wealth of an old friend" and "the daughter of Nacini". A generation of great scholars swept the floor overnight and became notorious.

Extended data:

1, Yuan Zhen and Cui Yingying

Yuan Zhen's original wife was Wei Cong. Before marrying Wei Cong, she had an affair with a woman, and this woman was Cui Yingying. There are many accounts about Cui Yingying in Yuan Zhen's Biography of Yingying (also known as Huizhenji), which became the blueprint for Wang Shifu to write The West Chamber. ?

In the 15th year of Tang Zhenyuan (799), Yuan Zhen made a small errand in (now yongji city, Shaanxi Province) and fell in love with Cui's distant relative girl (in Yingying Biography). According to the Jinshi system in the Tang Dynasty, the best Jinshi had to pass the official examination before they could formally appoint an official position, so Yuan Zhen took an examination in Beijing in the 16th year of Zhenyuan (800).

Since entering Beijing to take the exam, Yuan Zhen has won the appreciation of Wei and New Beijing for his outstanding literary talent, and made friends with the children of Wei men. As a result, he learned that Wei Cong, Wei's daughter, had not been betrothed to others, and realized that this was an excellent opportunity to embark on the road and climb the peak. Yuan Zhen, who was eager to be an official, abandoned Yingying and married Wei Cong.

Maybe it's the condemnation of conscience, maybe it's the unforgettable memory of the first love Cui Yingying. So many years later, Yuan Zhen took his first love as the prototype and created the legendary novel Yingying Biography, which is the predecessor of The West Chamber.

2. Zhu

As a learned scholar, Zhu has many aspects worth learning by future generations.

He never tires of learning, never tires of teaching, reads widely, is rigorous in his studies and has rich works. He has made great achievements in exegesis, textual research, annotation of ancient books and collation of documents and materials. In addition, he also conducted extensive research on many natural sciences such as astronomy, geography, law and calendar.

As an official in feudal society, he tried to maintain that system, but at the same time he could observe people's feelings, oppose those who extorted money and harmed the rich, and dared to fight against the illegal acts of corrupt officials and local gentry.

During his tenure as a local official, Zhu also did some useful work to stabilize people's livelihood, such as relieving famine and encouraging production. Among the officials in feudal society, he was an upright and promising man. Finally, it should be pointed out that Zhu is also one of the famous educators in the history of education in China.
