Cao Cao claimed to have millions of soldiers, lived in the north and wanted to annex the south. Wu Dong and Xishu united against the Northern Wei Dynasty. Zhou Yu, commander-in-chief of Soochow, and Zhuge Liang, strategist of Xishu, studied the plan to attack Cao Cao together. They decided to take advantage of Cao Cao's arrogance and contempt for the enemy and adopt a battle plan of fire attack. Zhou Yu used double agents to get Cao Cao to kill Cai Mao and Zhang Yun, generals who were familiar with water warfare and could resist it. Zhou Yu also asked Pang Tong to make a false contribution to trick Jun into connecting the warships.
Zhou Yu hit Huang Gai again and let the veteran cheat Cao Cao with a "bitter plan". In fact, Huang Gai filled the ship with flammable materials and prepared to rush to Cao Ying in a fraudulent way to launch a fire attack.
Everything is arranged, but there is a very important condition-we must rely on the southeast wind to light the Cao Jun on the north shore. It was the middle of winter, and the northwest wind was blowing every day. Zhou Yu was so anxious that he fell ill and was bedridden. Only Zhuge Liang, a military strategist, knows fairly well. He claimed that there was a secret recipe that could cure Zhou Yu's illness. Zhuge Liang visited Zhou Yu and prescribed a prescription: if you want to break Cao Gong, attack him with fire, and everything is ready except the east wind. Four verses tell the truth about Zhou Yu.
Zhou Yu eagerly asked Zhuge Liang, what can I do with Dongfeng? Zhuge Liang knows astronomy above and geography below. Through meteorological observation, he had an idea in his heart. He told Zhou Yu that he could give orders and borrow the southeast wind for three days and three nights to help Zhou Yu set fire. Zhou Yu immediately ordered people to build an earthen platform called "Seven Star Altar". Zhuge Liang prayed for the southeast wind on the "Seven Star Altar".
On the scheduled date, the southeast wind was blowing, and Zhou Yu successfully carried out his fire attack plan. The east wind blew wildly, the flames were blazing, and Cao Cao and Battle of Red Cliffs suffered a crushing defeat, thus laying a "three-legged" situation.
The idiom "Everything is ready, except for the east wind" means that everything is ready, except for the last important condition.
2. A exhausted love can be returned slowly: Qian Liu's original wife, Princess Dai, is a peasant girl in Longbi Village, Hengxi. Dai is the daughter of a famous wife and mother in the village. After marrying Qian Liu, she followed Qian Liu to the north and south, and spent half her life in fear. Later, she became the mother of a country. Although I left my hometown at a young age, I still can't get rid of the local plot and my parents. I will go back to my parents' home for a period of time every spring to visit and serve my parents. Qian Liu is also a man of temperament, and he is the wife who misses this scum the most. Dai's family has lived at home for a long time, and he wants to send her a letter: either missing or greeting, but also urging. In the past, Lin 'an had to cross a hurdle from Langya, with steep peaks on one side and rushing Tunxi on the other. Qian Liu was afraid that Diana's sedan chair was unsafe and inconvenient to walk, so she set aside money, sent people to pave the road and added railings on the roadside. Later, the mountain was renamed as "Langanling". That year, Diana went to Longbi's house again. Qian Liu was in charge of political affairs in Hangzhou. One day, when she walked out of the palace gate, she saw that at the foot of the Phoenix Mountain, BLACKPINK had appeared on the shore of the West Lake, which was colorful. When I think that I haven't seen Mrs. Dai for many days, I can't help thinking about her again. When I returned to the palace, I wrote a letter. Although it is a few words, it is sincere and meticulous. Among them, there is a sentence: "A exhausted love, you can go home slowly." Nine words, plain and warm, especially heavy feelings, made Dai Fei immediately shed two lines of tears. The story spread and became a much-told story for a while. Wang Shizhen, a scholar in Qing Dynasty, once said that "a exhausted love can slowly return home", which is called eternity in the second language. "Later, it was compiled into a folk song by the people in the village and named" Flowers on the Stranger ",which was widely sung in my hometown. By the time of Xining in the Northern Song Dynasty, Su Dongpo was already the chief judge of Hangzhou. Heroes cherish each other, and Qian Liu respects each other. He inscribed "loyalty" and spoke highly of Qian Liu's achievements. Su Gong likes to walk around and often comes to Lin 'an. After listening to the songs of the villagers, he was deeply moved, so he wrote three poems "Flowers on the Stranger", which quoted him as saying: "Visit Jiuxian Mountain and listen to the children's song" Flowers on the Stranger ". According to my father, Princess wuyue returns to Lin 'an every spring. Wang wrote a letter to the princess, saying,' A heart-wrenching love, you can go home slowly. Wu people take their words as songs, think about them, and listen to them sadly, but their words are vulgar and cloud-like. "Three poems say: (1) A butterfly flies with all its emotions, and the mountains and rivers remain the same as before. After several dying struggles, Long Ge, a wandering girl, slowly returned. (2) There are countless flowers in the mountains, and passers-by compete to see the green. If you want to stay in the open air, come back slowly from teaching. (3) I was rich and rich before my death, and I had an affair behind me. I have been delayed in going to Shandong, and I want to teach my concubine to return home slowly. Su Dongpo expressed his mourning for the rise and fall of wuyue in his poems. Later, Chao, a student of Su Dongpo, had a relationship with three strangers: one of them, Dream of King Jing, had gone home in the spring, and the flowers of strangers were dancing with the evening rain. However, Jiang Chuanren didn't know that Du Qiu was in tears. Secondly, the half-floor terrace belonging to Ancheng was once a fragrant dust. I didn't see the jade girl at that time, but now it is blooming again. Third, mica is a beautiful letter, and beautiful women look back at the flowers on strangers. My trip is not as urgent as the east wind. I have to drive slowly before I can report the flowers.
3. Self-degradation: During the Three Kingdoms period, after Liu Bei's death, Zhuge Liang helped Liu Chan to revive the Han Dynasty. He tried his best to plan the northern expedition to Cao Wei. Liu Chan has no ambition or ability to govern the country. Zhuge Liang was deeply worried. On the eve of the war, he wrote "There was a model before", asking him to educate hundreds of officials and not forget the kindness of the first emperor. He should aspire to be strong, and don't sell himself short.
4. Looking at Plums to Quench Thirst: At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Cao Cao led troops to attack Zhang Xiu, marching all the way with difficulty. It was midsummer, and the sun was burning in the air, giving off huge heat, and the earth was almost burnt. Cao Cao's army has been walking for many days and is very tired. There are barren hills and mountains along the way, and there is no human habitation. Fiona Fang and Fiona Fang have no water for dozens of miles. The soldiers did their best, but they never got a drop of water to drink. The soldiers were dizzy and sweaty in the hot sun overhead, but they couldn't find water to drink. Everyone is thirsty and feels as if there is a fire in his throat. Many people have chapped lips and bloody mouths. Every few miles, people fall down and die of heatstroke, and even strong soldiers gradually lose their support.
Cao Cao was very anxious to see such a scene. He rode his horse to a nearby hill, where he searched for water as much as possible. However, he was disappointed to find that the cracked land was endless and the drought area was very large. Looking back at the soldiers, one by one staggered and thirsty for a long time, it seems that it is rare to take a step forward.
Cao Cao is a clever man. This is terrible, he thought. We can't find water. If we continue to consume like this, not only will our chances of war be delayed, but many people will also be lost here. How can we find ways to boost morale and inspire everyone to get out of the arid areas?
Cao Cao thought and thought, and suddenly he had a brainwave, and a good idea popped out in his mind. He is on the mountain, pulling out his flag and pointing forward. He shouted, "There is a large piece of Merlin not far ahead, full of big, sour and sweet plums. Please hold on, you can quench your thirst when you get there! "
After listening to Cao Cao, the soldiers thought of the sour taste of plums, as if they had really eaten plums. Suddenly, a lot of saliva came out of their mouths, and their spirits rose, so they gathered all their strength and rushed forward. In this way, Cao Cao finally led the army to a place with water.
Cao Cao successfully overcame the difficulty of thirst by using people's conditioned reflex to the sour taste of plums. It can be seen that when people encounter difficulties, they should not be afraid to advance blindly, but should always use their desire for success to motivate themselves, so that they will have enough courage to overcome difficulties and reach the other side of success.
5. Be happy without thinking about Shu: During the Three Kingdoms period, Liu Bei occupied Shu and established Shu. After his death, his son Liu Chan succeeded to the throne, also known as Liu Adou. Liu Chan is incompetent. After the death of the sage, Shu was destroyed by Wei in 263 AD. After Liu Chan surrendered, Cao Mao of Wang Wei gave him the title of "An Le Gong" with no real power and moved him to Xuchang, Weijingdu.
Wang Wei himself has no real power, and Si Mazhao has the final say. At a banquet, Si Mazhao deliberately arranged to perform Sichuan songs and dances in front of Liu Chan. At the thought of the ruin of the old country, Liu Chan's followers were very sad, but they said to him, "Just have a good time here and don't think about Shu any more." He doesn't miss Shu at all.
In Conan's dream, there was a man named Chun Yuba who liked to drink. There is a big pagoda tree with deep roots and luxuriant leaves in his yard. On midsummer night, there are few stars in the moon, the evening breeze is blowing gently and the trees are swaying, which is a good place to enjoy the cool.
On Chunyuba's birthday, relatives and friends came to celebrate his birthday. He was happy for a while and then drank a few glasses of wine. In the evening, relatives and friends all went back, and Chunyuba rested under the big locust tree with a little drunkenness and fell asleep unconsciously.
In my dream, Chunyuba entered a tree hole at the invitation of two envoys. The sun shines in the cave, and there is another world, which is called Dahuai country. Just in time for Beijing to select officials, he also signed up. After three exams, the article was written very smoothly. When the exam results were announced, he ranked first. Then the emperor had an interview. Seeing that Chunyuba was handsome, talented and loved very much, the emperor personally named her the champion and betrothed the princess to him. The top scholar Lang became a husband, and the capital was once beautiful.
The relationship between husband and wife is very happy after marriage. Soon, Chunyu Kun was sent by the emperor to the county as a magistrate. Chunyu is diligent and loves the people. He often goes to the territory to investigate and study and check the work of his subordinates. The local administration is very clean and effective, and the local people greatly appreciate him. Thirty years later, Chunyuba's achievements have become famous all over the country. He has five men, two women and seven children, and he lives proudly. The emperor tried several times to transfer Chunyuba back to Beijing for promotion. When the locals heard about it, they all poured into the streets, blocked the satrap's carriage and forced him to succeed in Conan. Chun Yuba was moved by the people's love and had to stay to explain the situation to the emperor. The emperor appreciated his achievements and gave him many treasures as a reward.
6. Like a duck to water: At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the world was in chaos. In order to realize the great wish of unifying the world, Liu Bei specially visited Zhuge Liang, who lived in seclusion, and invited him out of the mountain. He didn't see him twice in a row, only for the third time.
Liu Bei explained his purpose and talked about his great ambitions. Zhuge Liang confided his heart and put forward the strategic policy of seizing Jingzhou and Yizhou, linking Sun Quan in the east and exploring Cao Cao in the north. Liu Bei was overjoyed and worshipped Kong Ming as his strategist.
Kong Ming tried his best to assist Liu Bei, but Liu Bei's trust and reuse of Kong Ming caused the displeasure of Guan Yu, Zhang Fei and other generals. In front of Liu Bei, they show their expressions of dissatisfaction from time to time, and Zhang Fei, who is honest and frank, is even more dissatisfied. Liu Bei patiently explained. He vividly compared himself to a fish and Kong Ming to water, and repeatedly explained that Kong Ming's talent and courage were very important for him to accomplish the great cause of the world. He said, "I, Liu Bei, have Kong Ming, just like fish have water. I hope everyone will stop talking about it. " Later, with the help of Kong Ming, Liu Bei joined the Eastern Expedition and Northern Expedition, occupied Jingzhou, and won Yizhou. He won successively in the military, and his power continued to expand, and finally he stood in a tripartite confrontation with Wei and Wu.
The story comes from the biography of the Three Kingdoms, Shu Zhi and Zhuge Liang. The idiom "like a duck to water" means to find a person who is congenial to you or an environment suitable for you.
7. Playing hard to get: Zhuge Liang's seven-time capture of Meng Huo is a wonderful example of "playing hard to get" in military history. After the establishment of Shu Han, it was decided to explore the North. At that time, Meng Huo, the leader of Southwest Yi, led a hundred thousand troops to invade Shu. In order to solve the worries of the Northern Expedition, Zhuge Liang decided to personally lead the troops to pacify Meng Huo. The main force of the Shu army arrived near Lushui (now Jinsha River) to lure the enemy deep and set an ambush in the valley in advance. Meng Huo was lured into an ambush, defeated and captured.
At the end of the Jin Dynasty, the prefect of Youzhou, Wang Jun, attempted to rebel and usurp the throne. After hearing the news, Xerox, a famous Jin Dynasty star, planned to destroy Wang Jun. Wang Jun is strong, and Schleswig is afraid that it will be difficult to win at the moment. He decided to play hard to get and paralyze Wang Jun. He sent a guest, Wang Zichun, with a large number of pearl treasures as a tribute to Wang Jun ... and wrote to Wang Jun to express his support for him to be the son of heaven. The letter said that the country is now in decline and the Central Plains has no owner. Only if you are a noble world can you be qualified to be an emperor. Wang Zichun embellished it again, making Wang Jun happy and believing it. Just then, Wang Jun had a subordinate named You Tong.
Waiting to rebel against Wang Jun. You Tong wanted to find Xerox as a backer, but Xerox killed You Tong and gave his head to Wang Jun. This move made Wang Jun absolutely relieved of Schleswig.
In 3 14 AD, Schleswig-Holstein heard that Youzhou was flooded and the people had no food. Wang Jun regardless of people's life and death, exorbitant taxes, one after another, people's resentment boiling, morale floating. Schleswig personally led the troops to attack Youzhou. In April this year, Schleswig's troops arrived in Youzhou, but Wang Jun was still in the dark, thinking that Schleswig had come to support him and was not prepared to fight at all. Suddenly captured by Schleswig-Holstein soldiers, he woke up like a dream. Wang Jun was tricked into playing hard to get by Schleswig-Holt, and his dream failed.
The goal of capturing the enemy commander-in-chief has been achieved, and the enemy will not have strong fighting capacity for a while. By pursuing victory, we can greatly disintegrate the enemy. However, Zhuge Liang considered that Meng Huo had a high prestige and great influence in southwest China. If he is persuaded to surrender voluntarily, the south will be truly stable. Otherwise, the tribes in the south will not stop invading and the rear will be difficult to settle down. Zhuge Liang decided to take a "heart attack" war against Meng Huo and release Meng Huo flatly. Meng Huo said that the next time he hit you, Zhuge Liang just smiled. Meng Huo returned to the camp, towed away all the ships, guarded the south bank of Lushui, and prevented the Shu army from crossing the river. Zhuge Liang sneaked through the filth on the other side of the river and attacked Meng Huo's granary while the enemy was unprepared. Meng Huo was furious and wanted to severely punish the soldiers and arouse their resistance, so he agreed to surrender and tied Meng Huo to the Shu camp while Meng Huo was unprepared. Zhuge Liang saw that Meng Huo was still not satisfied and let him go again. Later, Meng Huo tried many tricks, which were discovered by Zhuge Liang. He was arrested four times and released four times. For the last time, Zhuge Liang set fire to Meng Huo's rattan armor and captured Meng Huo alive for the seventh time. Finally, Meng Huo was moved. He sincerely thanked Zhuge Liang for not killing for seven times and never looking back. Since then, the southwest of Shu has been settled, and Zhuge Liang can send troops to the Northern Expedition.
8. Farewell my concubine: There is always good luck when a beautiful woman is famous; Good horses are famous and often ride. Therefore, Wang Xiang is a sad and generous poet, who wrote a poem for himself, saying, "If you pull out a mountain, you will be angry with the world, and if it is unfavorable, you will not die." What can I do without dying? "Songs count, beauty and it. Xiang Wang cried several times, but both sides cried, afraid to look up.
"There is beauty in danger", but it is also called "concubine" which has been circulated for a long time in the nothingness of the future; The name "Yuji" didn't appear until the Tang Dynasty's Kuodizhi and other books. Of course, "Ji" is just a synonym, not the real name of Yu Ji. Yuji has an unnamed surname, and her name has long been lost in the black hole of historical fracture. The name of the inscription in the Five Dynasties is called "Yu Meiren" for short.
Ban Gu said in The Biography of Sima Qian in Han Dynasty: "Sima Qian used Shi Ben and Warring States Policy according to Zuo Shi and Guoyu to record the Spring and Autumn Period of Chu and Han Dynasty, and then ended in Tian Han." Among them, Chu Qiu was written by Lu Jia in the early Han Dynasty and died in the Southern Song Dynasty. When Sima Qian wrote Historical Records, he referred to the book Chu and Han Chunqiu. There is no doubt: "Gai Sima Qian wrote Historical Records according to Chu and Han Chunqiu, so his words about Qin and Han affairs were particularly detailed." (Wang sharp weapon)
However, Sima Qian, who paid attention to details and was curious, did not record the chorus of "Beauty and Peace" in Chu Qiu. Zhang Shoujie, a Tang Dynasty poet, quoted this song from the Spring and Autumn Period of Chu and Han Dynasties in "Justice in Historical Records":
The song says: Han soldiers have moved slightly to the ground, and all directions are singing; Your majesty's spirit is exhausted, and the concubine can't make a living.
For a long time, some people suspected that this harmony song was forged by later generations because there was no such mature five-character poem in Qin and Han Dynasties. The elegy of Mrs. Qi recorded in the biography of consorts in the Han Dynasty is a fairly mature five-character poem: "The son is king, the mother is Lu, and the curtain is thin all day long, often interacting with death! Who will sue that woman three thousand miles away? " Qin Shimin's ballad recorded in Li Daoyuan's Notes on Water Classics and Rivers is also a quite mature five-character poem: "When a man is born, he should be careful not to lift it, while a woman should breast-feed. I can't see the Great Wall, the body is the pillar. " Therefore, the harmony song recorded in Chu Qiu is not a fake, so there should be no problem.
Chu Qiu and Historical Records of Xiang Yu are the earliest works to record the story of Farewell My Concubine. Neither book deals with the ending of Yu Ji. In a natural way, concubine Yu could not survive, otherwise there would be no case of concubine Yu's suicide, and there would be no "beauty tomb of Xiang Yu" in the Tang Dynasty. The next world war, surrounded by songs, drinking swords and Chu accounts, can only be the only ending for Kyrgyzstan.
It is generally believed that the story of Farewell My Concubine reflects the earth-shattering love between Yu Ji and Xiang Yu. The hero of the overlord of Chu died and Yu Ji committed suicide. This sad moment was fixed between the lines of China literature and the stage of China opera, and became the most classic and exciting brilliant legend in China's classical love.
9. Eat your bread and taste your courage:
In 496 BC, He Lv, the king of Wu, sent troops to attack the State of Yue, and was defeated by the State of Yue. He Lv was seriously injured and died. He Lv asked Wu Zixu to choose his successor. Wu Zixu loved Fu Cha alone and chose him as king. Since then, Gou Jian heard that Wu wanted to build a water army, and despite the opposition of others, he sent troops to destroy the water army. The result was surrounded by Fucha Jones and was defeated. The general also died. Fu Cha wanted to capture Gou Jian alive, but Fan Li made a plan and pretended to surrender, leaving a green hill without firewood. Fu Cha didn't listen to the advice of veteran Wu Zixu, leaving Gou Jian and others behind. After three years of humiliation, he was finally put back to Yue. Gou Jian secretly trained elite soldiers, sleeping every night without a mattress, just laying some firewood (called salary in ancient times), and hanging a bravery in the house. In order not to forget the shame of the past, he will taste bitterness from time to time. In order to inspire the people, Gou Jian joined the work of the Queen and the people, and made the country stronger with the help of Vietnamese Qi Xin. On one occasion, Fu Cha led most of the troops in the country to hold a meeting and asked Gou Jian to lead troops to cheer. Seeing that the time had come, Gou Jian pretended to go to the meeting, took 3,000 chosen men, captured the main city of Wu, killed the king of Wu and captured Fu Cha. Fu Cha regretted not listening to Wu Zixu and left Gou Jian behind. Before he died, he just asked not to hurt the people of Wu.
10: Confused: Haw answers Haw, Mulan Weaver is like home. I can't hear the loom, but I hear the woman sigh.
What is this woman thinking? Ask the woman what she remembers. Mulan has nothing to think about and her daughter has nothing to remember. The military post I saw last night was full of soldiers. The art of war consists of twelve volumes, which contain the names of lords. Grandpa has no eldest son and Mulan has no big brother. I am willing to be a pommel horse in the city and sign for you from now on.
Buy horses in the east, saddles in the west, reins in the south and whip in the north. Say goodbye to parents and stay by the Yellow River at dusk. I didn't hear my parents calling for a female voice, but I heard the Yellow River splashing. Say goodbye to the Yellow River and go to Montenegro at dusk. I can't hear my parents calling for a female voice, but I hear Yanshan Hu riding a horse.
Wan Li to Rongji, the mountain is flying. The breath of the new moon is golden, and the cold light is iron. The general died in battle, and the strong man returned in ten years.
See you later, the son of heaven is sitting in the hall. Policy 12 turn, before reward 100. Khan asked him what he wanted. Mulan doesn't need Shang Shulang. She is willing to send her son back to his hometown not far from Wan Li.
Hearing the news of my daughter, I went out to help Guo; As soon as Sister A heard that Sister Mei was coming, she had to cut her red makeup. When I heard my sister coming, I sharpened my knife at pigs and sheep. Open my east pavilion door and sit on my west pavilion bed; Take off my wartime robe and put on my old clothes; When the window is decorated with clouds, the mirror is yellow. I went out to meet my partners, and they were all surprised and busy: I traveled together for twelve years, but I didn't know Mulan was a girl.
The male rabbit's feet are confused and the female rabbit's eyes are blurred. When two rabbits walk side by side, can I tell if I am a male or a female?
Modern vernacular Chinese:
The loom keeps turning, and Mulan is weaving. There was no sound of Mulan weaving, only a sigh.
Her mother felt very strange and asked her what was on her mind.
When her mother pressed her again and again, Mulan had to say, "There is nothing wrong with her, but I read the king's draft paper with his father's name on it last night, but his father is too old to stand the pain of war and his younger brother is too young to replace him. Daughter, I am anxious about this. "
Mulan paused and added, "I studied martial arts with my father since I was a child, so I can join the army instead of my father."
Mother said awkwardly, "But you are a girl, how can you join the army?"
Mulan said firmly, "I have an idea."
When the conscription period came, Mulan disguised herself as a man to bid farewell to her parents and went to the frontier fortress to fight with the army.
Mulan was brave and made many contributions in the war. After more than ten years of hard fighting,
The war was finally over and Mulan came back victorious. In order to reward Mulan's merits, the emperor gave her a lot of money and things, and honored her.
But Mulan said, "Thank you for your kindness, but I don't want to be an official. I only ask the emperor to allow me to go back to my hometown and reunite with my parents. " The emperor agreed to Mulan's request.
When Mulan got home, she immediately went to her room, put on the girl's clothes, braided her hair, inserted flowers and came out, revealing her original girl appearance. When the companions who sent Mulan back saw it, they were all surprised and said, "Oh, I didn't know you were a girl after all these years."
Later, someone wrote a poem "Mulan Poetry" for this purpose. The last few lines of this poem are:
The male rabbit's feet are confused and the female rabbit's eyes are blurred. When two rabbits walk side by side, can I tell if I am a male or a female?
It means: when the rabbit's ears are hanging in the air, the male rabbit's front feet are moving all the time, and the female rabbit's eyes are often narrowed, which is easy to identify. If two rabbits run side by side next to the ground, who can tell which is the male and which is the female?
This idiom means that things are vague in people's minds and it is difficult to see the truth clearly.
1 1: Everyone is responsible for the rise and fall of the world: Gu's Record of Japanese Knowledge. "People who protect the world are mean to everyone and have no responsibility."
"History of Pain" tells the story of the demise of the Southern Song Dynasty, when the Yuan army entered the Central Plains, raped Jia Sidao, betrayed the country for glory, and Wen Tianxiang and other loyal officials fought bravely against the Yuan. The novel faithfully reproduces the temples full of fishy eyes and the deep national disaster caused by war, and describes the coolness of Yuan people's lewdness and murder. This is a sad and indignant work. The book focuses on portraying a traitor like a Taoist. He specialized in politics with his consorts, played politics with porcelain power, was dissolute and shameless, and colluded with Yuan Meng in secret, and finally ended up losing the game. The novel is loyal to historical facts and combines the advantages of historical lectures and chivalrous novels. It is full of emotion, rich in pen and ink and full of vitality.
12: Self-recommendation: During the Warring States Period, Qin Jun defeated Zhao Jun in Changping. Tian Lei, the leader of Qin Jun, led the attack and surrounded Handan, the capital of Zhao.
At present, Zhao's situation is very critical. The king of Zhao ordered Zhao Sheng to go to Chu to seek the help of soldiers. Ping Yuanjun called the public and selected 20 civil and military generalists to go with him. After selection, there is still one person missing at last. A man named stood up and recommended himself to Mao Sui, saying, "I heard that Mr. Wang is going to the State of Chu to sign a contract of union, and it is agreed that 20 public guests will go with him and not be outside to watch. One person is still missing. I hope that Teacher Wang will start from the number of people who have made up enough! " Ping Yuanjun said, "How many years has Mr. Zhao Sheng been here?" Mao Sui said, "Three years." Ping Yuanjun said, "A wise man in the world is like an awl in a bag, and its tip will be revealed immediately. Now, I have been under Zhao Shengmen for three years, and no one around me has praised you, and Zhao Sheng has never heard any compliments. This is because I have no talent. So Mr. Wang Can can't go, please stay! " Mao Sui said, "I only asked to enter the bag today. If I were in the bag, I would be like an awl, and the whole edge would be exposed, not just the tip. " Ping Yuanjun finally chose Mao Sui.
In the State of Chu, the King of Chu only received Ping Yuanjun. Two people sat in the temple, from morning to noon, with no result. Mao Sui stepped up the steps and shouted at a distance, "It's either good or bad to send troops. Simple and clear. Why not decide to discuss it? " The king of Chu was very angry and asked Ping Yuanjun, "Who is this man?" Ping Yuanjun replied: "This man's name is Mao Sui, but he is my guest!" The king of Chu shouted, "Get off the bus! I'm talking to your master. What are you doing here? " Seeing that the king of Chu was angry, Mao Sui did not step down, but went up several steps. He put the sword in his hand and said, "Now, in ten steps, your king's life is in my hands!" " Seeing that Mao Sui was so brave, the King of Chu stopped scolding him, so he listened to Mao Sui. Mao Sui made an incisive analysis of the truth of capture, assistance and Chu. Mao sui's words convinced the king of Chu and promised to send troops at once. A few days later, Chu, Wei and other countries jointly sent troops to help Zhao. Qin Jun retreated. After returning to Zhao, he became a national guest. He sighed and said, "When Mr. Mao arrived in Chu, the king of Chu dared not look down upon Zhao."
The idiom "self-recommendation" comes from this, which means to recommend yourself to do a certain job without being introduced by others.
13: Get to the point: Shao Yi, the word of Wang Xizhi, was born in Huiji, Jin Dynasty (now Shaoxing, Zhejiang). He is one of the most famous calligraphers in the history of China. Because he was a general of the right army, later generations called him Wang Youjun.
Although Wang Xizhi's handwriting is so good, it has something to do with his talent, but the most important thing is his hard work. In order to practice his handwriting well, whether he is resting or walking, he must think about the structure of the font, try to figure out the shelf and momentum of the word, and keep paddling his fingers on his skirt. So after a long time, even my clothes were cut.
He used to practice calligraphy by the pond, and every time he finished writing, he washed his pen and inkstone in the pond. After a long time, the water in the whole pond turned black. It can be seen that he has made great efforts in practicing calligraphy.
It is said that he loves geese very much and often watches them swim around in the river in a daze. Later, he realized the principle of brush strokes from the movements of geese, which was of great help to his calligraphy skills.
Once, he went to a Taoist temple to play, and when he saw a group of geese were lovely, he asked the Taoist priest to sell them to him. The Taoist priest in Guanli admired his calligraphy for a long time and asked him to write a copy of Huang Tingjing in exchange. Wang Xizhi liked those geese very much and agreed. So Wang Xizhi wrote a poem "Huang Ting Jing" for Guan Li, and the Taoist gave him all those geese.
On another occasion, the emperor went to the northern suburbs to offer sacrifices, and asked Wang Xizhi to write his congratulatory message on a board, and then sent workers to carve it. The sculptor was very surprised when he carved. Wang Xizhi's calligraphy and brushwork actually penetrated into the wood for more than three points. He praised: "The words of the general of the right army are really incisive!"
