The compulsory course of history in ordinary senior high schools is divided into three learning modules: history (1), history (2) and history (3), including 25 learning topics that connect ancient and modern times with Chinese and foreign countries, which reflect the important historical contents of human society, politics, economy, ideology and culture, science and technology, etc., and are the basic contents that all senior high school students must learn. The history elective course in ordinary senior high schools is the learning content for students to choose, aiming at further stimulating students' interest in learning, expanding their historical horizons and promoting their personalized development. The history elective course is divided into six modules: review of major historical reforms, modern social democratic thought and practice, war and peace in the 20th century, comments on Chinese and foreign historical figures, exploration of historical mysteries, and collection of world cultural heritage. In the process of compiling teaching materials and teaching, relevant learning contents can be added according to the actual situation.
