1. The first female emperor was the Shang emperor of the Northern Wei Dynasty, namely Yuan Girl, with the year number. In 528 AD, Hu Taihou of the Northern Wei Dynasty committed adultery in the harem, fearing that he would be killed if it was exposed. So he struck first and killed Xu Yuan, the emperor of Xiaoming. After Emperor Xiaoming's death, the country could not live without a monarch for a day, so Hu Taihou took Pan Jin's imperial harem as emperor and renamed it "Wu Qin".

2. The second female emperor is Wen Jiadi Chen Shuozhen. In 653 AD, that is, in the fourth year of Yonghui in Tang Gaozong, Chen Shuozhen, a woman from Zhou Mu, led a peasant uprising and called herself Emperor Wenjia. Chen Shuozhen is an ordinary rural girl from Zitong Garden.

She lost her husband in her early years and her family was poor. Because he couldn't bear to see the villagers being oppressed and persecuted by court officials, he led the uprising and showed extraordinary courage and outstanding intelligence. After the uprising, she called herself "Emperor Wenjia".

3. The third female emperor is Wu Zetian, that is, the emperor of the Zhou Dynasty.
