Against the lush green grass, the transparent sphere used to connect the two buildings in the middle is like the sun rising in Ran Ran between the peaks. "Sunrise with Twin Peaks" has become the cultural landscape of Fudan campus. From the foundation laying in June 5438+February 2002 to the completion now, the construction of Guanghua Building has been concerned and supported by the Ministry of Education, Shanghai Municipal Committee and Municipal Government. Its birth also marks a new height and a new starting point for the development of Fudan University in the new century.

In February 2002, the foundation stone was laid for Guanghua Building.

In May 2004 (99th anniversary celebration), the main structure was capped.

On May 27th, 2005, the inauguration ceremony was held.

In August 2005, it was officially delivered for use.
