Nvidia, founded in June 1993, is a semiconductor company mainly engaged in designing display chips and motherboard chipsets. Chinese American Huang Rensen (Huang Renxun) is the founder and CEO.
NVIDIA's most famous product line is GeForce graphics card series for games, Quadro graphics card series for professional workstations and nForce chipset series for computer motherboards.
GF series is divided into notebook graphics card and desktop graphics card, among which notebook graphics card series includes GF900M, GF800M, GF700M, GF600M, GF500M, GF400M, GF300M, GF200M, GF 100M, GF8M and GFGO7M.
Development history
Huang Renxun, Chris Lakovski and carters prim founded NVIDIA (later a Delaware enterprise) in California on June 1993. NVIDIA kept a low profile until 1997- 1998 released the RIVA PC graphics processor product line.
Listed on Nasdaq in June19991; In May of the same year, the/kloc-0.0 millionth graphics processor was sold. In 2000, it obtained the intellectual property rights of a generation of king 3dfx. 3dfx is one of the largest manufacturers of graphics processors in the mid-1990s. NVIDIA has established close relations with many OEMs and some organizations. In February 2002, NVIDIA sold its 1 100 millionth graphics processor.
