Tracing back to the academy of industrial field
As mentioned above, Gongye Chang is rarely recorded in historical records. It is difficult to find out when he studied in this college. But it's been passed down from generation to generation. There must be evidence. Tracing back to the source, it should be related to the proximity to Gongye Chang's hometown. Zhang Hua of the Jin Dynasty said: "Gongye Chang's tomb is located five miles southeast of Chengyang Gumu Town, and the tomb is extremely high." The ancient city of Gumu is located in Shibuzi Village, Anqiu City, not far from the southeast, that is, in the north of the industrial field village of Mazhuang Township, Zhucheng City. There is still Gongye Chang's tomb, which is one of the key cultural relics protection units in Zhucheng. According to Qing Qianlong's Zhucheng County Records, there is a large-scale Gongyechang Temple beside the tomb. There are still descendants of Ye Gong in the industrial field village, and Ye Gong's genealogy is collected in Zhucheng Museum. After the death of the ancients, they were generally buried in their homeland. There is no doubt that this is the hometown of Gongye Chang, only a dozen kilometers away from Anqiu Academy Hill. At that time, facing the turbulent situation of the collapse of rites and music, Gongye Chang was likely to live in seclusion in the nearby mountains and concentrate on his studies instead of being an official. Their descendants may have inherited their ancestors, making Gongye Chang Academy enduring. As for the architectural scale of the academy, there are no physical objects and historical records. According to today's guess, it is probably just a few huts.
