It is rumored that the sweat on BMW's front neck is bloody, hence the name. In ancient times, our ancestors once called Blood BMW Tianma and Dawanma (Dawan is the name of the ancient western regions, and now it belongs to Fergana Valley in Central Asia). "Historical Records" once recorded that Dawan's mother "had a daughter". After it sprinted at high speed, its shoulder position rose slowly and it shed sweat like blood. According to Hanshu, there is a high mountain near the second city of Dawanguo, where wild horses are born, so it is impossible to capture them. Dawanguo people put five-color mares at the foot of the mountain on spring nights. A wild horse mated with a mare and was born a bloody BMW. When the shoulders are sweaty, they are red as blood, and they are like wings, and they travel thousands of miles every day.
In ancient China, bloody BMW had a respected position. Rumors even triggered two wars for blood horses in the Han Dynasty. It is said that Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty sent a delegation of more than 100 people to Dawan country with a horse model made of gold, hoping to exchange it for Dawan horse as a gift. After more than 4,000 kilometers of land March, the group arrived in Ershi, the capital of Dawan Prefecture (now Ashgabat, Turkmenistan). I didn't expect King Dawan, because he loved horses so much, didn't want to trade Dawan horses for the Golden Horse of the Han Dynasty. What I didn't expect was that the envoys of the Han Dynasty were robbed on their way back to China. In Dawan, not only the Golden Horse was robbed, but also the envoy was killed. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty was furious and sent general Li Guang to visit Dawanguo, finally forcing Dawanguo to agree to provide good horses to the Han Dynasty.
After a bloody battle, the Han army selected 3000 good horses and shipped them back to the Central Plains. However, after a long journey, there were only 1 000 horses left at Yumen Pass. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty finally got the blood BMW and named it "Tianma", so that the blood BMW and other good horses from the western regions could cross with Mongolian horses and cultivate Shandan army horses. Since then, horses in the Central Plains have been improved, and the productivity and military equipment of the Han Dynasty have also been greatly enhanced.
As a result, the bloody BMW, which entered the Central Plains, became famous and spread in many dynasties and historical events. For example, in the Tang Dynasty, Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty married Ningyuan Wang (Dawan), and Ningyuan Wang gave Xuanzong two bloody BMWs. Xuanzong named the two horses "Jade Flower" and "White Night", which were also painted in the famous painting "White Night" in the Tang Dynasty.
From the Han Dynasty to the Yuan Dynasty, bloody BMW flourished for thousands of years. However, in modern times, it has been difficult to see the name of Blood BMW in historical materials, and Blood BMW has almost disappeared in China. But according to experts, the bloody BMW has not disappeared, but has always existed. There are thousands of bloody BMWs in Turkmenistan and Russia, but they are called Ahama locally.
According to the rumor that BMW is sweating like rain, experts have analyzed that the blood temperature of a horse can reach 45℃ to 46℃ when it runs at high speed, but its head temperature remains constant at around 40℃ as usual. According to this, animal experts speculate that the capillaries of the blood horse are dense, indicating that the capillaries are very developed. After high-speed running, with the blood rising by about 5℃, it is very likely that a small amount of red plasma will ooze from tiny pores. Others believe that the phenomenon of "sweating blood" is influenced by parasites. Homer H. Dubs of the Qing Dynasty also said in Han Shu before the restoration of Ban Gu that sweating was caused by horse disease, that is, a parasite that burrowed into horse skin, especially liked to parasitize on the buttocks and back of horses, and a small bag of blood would ooze from horse skin within two hours.
