In 2000, Dongji Handmade Museum cooperated with Tailong Industry to open its first branch in Taiwan Province Province, named "Handmade Tailong Handmade Museum". Store 1 completely transplanted the decoration and display methods of the Japanese branch when it opened, and the storefront area was similar to that of the Japanese branch, so it was a multi-storey storefront. However, because it is different from the usual dynamic design of stores in Taiwan Province Province, and there are multiple checkout counters on each floor, consumers are confused and the operation is not as good as expected. Ximending branch moved to Dongfeng Square, and its business area was reduced to a single-storey shop-in-shop. On the contrary, it was well received and its performance improved, and then it opened in Hall A4 of Xinyi Xintiandi in Taipei, shin kong mitsukoshi, Nanxi Store in Taipei, shin kong mitsukoshi and Taichung Store in shin kong mitsukoshi.

In 2008, Tailong Handicraft Museum launched a new store type-Tailong Handicraft Selection, which changed from the original single-storey store to the department store counter type, with fewer stores and more streamlined products. Tailong's hand-picked name is similar to that of Dongji, but Dongji's hand-picked Qingyetai Store is a specialty store selling household items in Dongji, which is significantly different from other big stores selling all products in Japan.
