Three climaxes of national industry
(1) The first climax appeared in1the 1960s and 1970s, and the work of national capitalism in China rose.
The reason is that, stimulated by foreign businessmen and induced by Westernization School to introduce western advanced production technology, some bureaucratic landlords and businessmen in China invested in establishing modern enterprises.
With the emergence of national industries, the capitalist mode of production came into being in China, and the national bourgeoisie was born in China. The proletariat has developed; Early bourgeois reform thought appeared.
(2) The second climax appeared after the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895, and the national capitalist industry developed initially.
The reason is that after the Sino-Japanese War, the capitalist powers competed to export capital to China. The further disintegration of China's feudal natural economy objectively provided labor and market for the development of national capitalism. In order to expand the tax source and solve the financial crisis, the Qing government relaxed the restrictions on private factories.
The initial development of national capitalist industry provided an economic basis for the national bourgeoisie to step onto the historical stage, and it was also the social basis for the rise of the Reform and Reform Movement.
(3) The third climax appeared between the Revolution of 1911 and the First World War. China's national capitalist industry and commerce have developed rapidly in a short period of time.
The reasons are: imperialism was busy with World War I and temporarily relaxed its economic aggression against China; The Revolution of 1911 overthrew the feudal monarchy, and the national bourgeoisie was greatly encouraged. Saving the country by industry and democratic republic became two major ideological trends at that time. Driven by patriotism and stimulated by profits, the national bourgeoisie is willing to invest in new enterprises.
