Why are there obviously relatively few historical records about the Jin Dynasty?
After the Three Kingdoms, the Western Jin Dynasty was unified, the Central Plains fell, and the Hu people invaded. The history of the Western Jin Dynasty is short, so it is nothing. As for the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Wang Dun, Huan Wen and other dignitaries were too busy with civil strife to explore the Central Plains. In this way, the history of the Jin Dynasty became the history of Han people resisting foreign invasion. In my opinion, perhaps because of the need of national unity and historical confusion, it is rarely mentioned now.
