Chongqing Augmented Map is a freehand woodcut by Liu Ziru (1870- 1949), a famous businessman, industrialist and philanthropist in Chongqing, based on Zhang's Chongqing Municipal Government Map. The original image is 15 1.5cm long and 85.5cm wide.

This map is one of the most detailed ancient maps of Chongqing, which is of great value to the study of Chongqing's urban development and its historical, geographical, social and cultural evolution.

"Full Map of Chongqing Geography Enlargement" depicts the landform and market of Chongqing ancient city, which is centered on Yuzhong Peninsula in Chongqing today, starting from Chaotianmen in the east and Futuguan in the west, south of Nan 'an District, south of Yangtze River and north of Guanyin Bridge in Jiangbei Town.

The map uses hand-drawn and woodcut methods to draw streets and rivers from a overlooking perspective and houses and buildings from a frontal perspective. It has the characteristics of multi-perspective and memory-based description of ancient maps. In the postscript of the map, the author briefly introduces the purpose of drawing: "Chongqing County is an important land and water artery, and the north and south are important. The situation is strange in ancient and modern times, and both China and foreign countries are envious.

People who have experienced their places may have a general idea, but the differences between roads and paths next to mountains and rivers are hard to get and detailed. Those who fail to reach it will yearn for it when they become famous, so they often chase (look at) geography and maps from a distance and think in a trance. However, there are only a few books, and there are very few details. Every book can't be without regrets.

Today, the old picture of Yun Xuan Zhang Jun was enlarged and completed in order to be detailed and clear to help one of the exhibitors. Qi Yi Liu Zi is as well known as the painting, and the edition is stored in Juzhen Square at the mouth of Longwang Temple. "
