The Catalogue of Chinese Core Journals is the result of the evaluation and research project of Chinese Core Journals, which is attended by many periodical workers and experts from related units in Peking University Library and more than a dozen university libraries in Beijing. Before 2008, the outline of Chinese core journals was updated, researched, compiled and published every four years. After 2008, it was updated and published every three years, and each edition was constantly adjusted and improved according to the actual situation at that time, so that the research results could reflect the objective reality more scientifically and reasonably.
