Shanghai Jinsheng Watch Factory (later changed to Shanghai Stopwatch Factory) 1956 trial-produced the quartermaster anemometer timer for Shanghai Navigation Instrument Factory of the First Machinery Department. Shanghai Watch Factory trial-produced the aviation clock pulse counter in 1960, which has high technical requirements and great difficulty. It integrates three kinds of timing, namely current time, flight time and time measurement. Its structure is very complicated, with 2 18 kinds of parts and more than 2900 working procedures, and its accuracy is quite high. Vibration, impact, high and low temperature performance should comply with aviation technical specifications. Shanghai Watch Company, concentrating on the technical force and equipment of the watch industry, set up the "608" workshop (military secret workshop) in Shanghai Watch Factory in August of196/,and trial-produced the sample of aviation clock pulse counter, which was approved by the Ministry of Light Industry and produced in small batches, filling the domestic blank, and was 1964. 1966165438+10, the "608" workshop was moved to Shaanxi to continue to undertake the supporting military tasks of aviation and radar.

Shanghai No.4 Watch Factory (formerly Shimin Watch Factory) started trial production for military and meteorological use on 1967. 1968 developed into a 0 ~ 6-hour fixed clock for the army long-distance delivery instrument. 1970 undertook the trial-manufacture task of 439-II magnetic timing mine fuze, which has high technical requirements, tight time and great difficulty. After repeated experiments and continuous improvement by the research group, it was successfully trial-produced in 1973 and put into mass production. In addition, we also tried to make the switch clock of radiosonde, control timer, three-contact fixed clock and other military products, which are used in tanks, mines, atomic radiation and other military equipment.

Shanghai No.3 Watch Factory (formerly Far East Watch Factory) and Shanghai Watch Research Institute accepted the task of 68 1 mine timing failure device issued by the Ministry of Light Industry in 1970. After a year of trial production, it was put into production in 197 1 year. 1972, in order to overcome the problem that the product is affected by magnetic field and has its own power supply, the 654 mine timed failure device was designed and manufactured. 1In June, 1975, the Sixth Machinery Department and the Ministry of Light Industry jointly deployed and developed a new type of timing arrester with strong universality and convenient use and maintenance, which replaced the 68 1 and 654 timers. After the trial production is successful and the design is finalized, it will be put into small batch production. 1979, the factory was merged into Shanghai Watch Factory, and the personnel and equipment were merged into Shanghai Watch Research Institute, and the military factory was established to continue to produce universal timing arresters. 1March, 984, it was finalized by the relevant state departments and included in the military equipment. There are 13 enterprises in the watch industry, which undertake the task of supporting the military industry and produce 109 products, including 60 complete machines and 49 supporting parts. From 1956 to 1990, a total of 1805900 timing instruments and 87804500 accessories were produced.
