Hefei University of Technology was founded in 1945, and 1960 was approved by the central government as a national key university. In 2005, the school became a national "2 1 1 Project" key construction university, in 2009, it became a national "985 Project" dominant discipline innovation platform construction university, and in 20 17, it entered the ranks of national "double-class" construction universities.
