The financial allocation is 6.5438+0.5 million yuan for repairing museums and purchasing basic equipment, and Mr. Ba Jin donated 6.5438+0.5 million yuan as the fund of China Modern Literature Museum.
During the period of 1984, the renovation work was basically completed, and the exhibition of Mao Dun's life and creative life and the exhibition of Lao She's life and creative life were held in the museum.
1985 65438+1On October 5th, at the 4th Congress of Chinese Writers Association, China Modern Literature Museum was formally established, and Yang Li was appointed as the first curator of the museum.
On March 26th of the same year, a grand opening ceremony was held, presided over by Mr. Ba Jin himself, and addressed by Hu Qiaomu and Wang Meng. More than 200 famous writers from all over the country attended the opening ceremony.
During the period of 1996, due to the fact that the old museum Manjuki can no longer bear the increasing number of cultural relics and books, and considering the degree of protection of letters and manuscripts, I hope to build an independent museum. With Mr. Ba Jin's active efforts again, the state opened a new site for the Literature Museum in shaoyaoju, Chaoyang District, and the new museum plan was implemented.
1997 started and completed by the end of September. 1999. The new museum opened on May 23rd, 2000. After completion, the new literature museum is a landmark cultural building with strong literary flavor. The exterior of the museum is dominated by red walls and blue tiles, and the flowers outside the wall are embossed, showing the charm and reflecting the artistic conception of letting a hundred flowers blossom.
In 2008, on the basis of the original blocks A and B, the Museum of Literature expanded the new building C again, further expanding the exhibition and research scale. Block 20 10 C was completed and put into use.
