Content introduction:

A General History of China was written by Mr. Lv Simian to meet the needs of university teaching when Shanghai became an "island" during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period. This book is divided into two volumes. The first volume is the Cultural History of China, which draws lessons from the classic system of ancient history books. According to the chapter, it is divided into marriage, clan system, political power, class, property, official system, election, taxation, military system, criminal law, industry, currency, food and clothing, housing and transportation, education, Chinese, academics, religion, etc. 18. The second volume is "Chinese Political History", which describes the historical events of various dynasties in chronological order from the origin of the nation until the founding of the Republic of China. It takes only 380,000 words to condense the 5,000-year history of China into a book. Mr. Wang advocates that the content of general history can not be separated from two major sections: "the rise and fall of chaos" and "laws and regulations", so the first volume is entitled "cultural phenomena"; The second volume, Advancing with the Times, ends with China on the Revolutionary Road, with 54 chapters in total.

This edition is published by Yan Qun Publishing House, 20 16. In order to make it easier to read, the editor added subtitles to the chapter.
