Historical Decryption: Where did Qin Shihuang's national seal finally go?
What is a "national decree"? Guo Chuan Yu Xi is a huge seal that can prove the identity and authority of the emperor.

In the current film and television works, we can see that when the county grandfather was promoted to the church, there was a huge official seal on the table. This official seal was given by the emperor to prove his official status and power. The imperial seal is the "official seal" of the emperor and the largest official seal in the world. In a sense, other official seals are derived from the jade seal.

So what does this "national decree" look like? Where did it come from and where is it now?

The imperial seal in history is the seal handed down by the emperor after the Qin Dynasty. The first emperor in China's history, Qin Shihuang, ordered the engraving of a jade seal after the unification of China, calling it the "Imperial Seal". According to historical records, this seal was carved from white jade in Lantian, Shaanxi. Fiona Fang is four inches long, a dragon fish and a phoenix bird. On the front of the imperial seal, the words "I will live forever after my destiny" written by Prime Minister Li Si are used as the token of "the imperial power is granted by God, and it is orthodox and legal". Since then, emperors have regarded the imperial edict as an important symbol of power and a symbol of unifying the whole country. Passing the imperial seal of the country has not only become the object coveted by aspirants, but also the object contested by kings, and it is also the treasure of the harem of the central dynasty and the heavy weapon of the country. Those who get the seal interpret it as a sign that they are "ordered by heaven"; Once the imperial seal is lost, it is regarded as a sign of the "exhaustion" of the dynasty. Any emperor who ascended the throne without a national seal in his hand will be ridiculed as the "White Emperor". It means that you sealed the emperor yourself, and there is no way to prove it. The letters they sent out without the seal of the decree were naturally not so convincing.

It is said that the jade seal is made of the famous "He". This "harmonious jade" is a rare treasure in ancient and modern times. The legend of the jade seal should start with this jade.

According to legend, in the Spring and Autumn Period, Bian He, a native of Chu State, got a piece of original stone jade in the mountains and gave it to Li, the king of Chu, as a rare treasure. Li, the king of Chu, was hard to judge, so he asked the jade worker to identify him. It happens that this Baoyu belongs to the hidden type. The jade worker of Chu state couldn't see its treasure, so he said it was an ordinary stone. It was a disaster, Bianhe. Bian He's left foot was cut off because he bullied the monarch, leaving him with a lifelong disability. Later, Chu Wuwang acceded to the throne, and Bian He offered Baoyu again. Chu Wuwang and the jade workers once again wronged Bian He. Bian He was once again convicted of cheating the monarch, and even his right foot was cut off. After the King of Chu acceded to the throne, Lao Bianhe held a jade and cried at the foot of Jingshan Mountain. King Wen of Chu was very surprised when he found out, so he sent someone to ask. Bian He said, "I'm not lamenting my fate, I'm lamenting that the Baoyu in my hand is regarded as an ordinary stone by the world. One day someone will prove that I am not lying. " King Wen of Chu had the stone of Bianhe cut open, and after careful investigation, he really carved a rare treasure jade. Hence the name "He Shi Bi".

Strangely, after Cui was born, legends surrounding it came one after another. In Chu Weiwang, Zhaoyang perished in Yue State, which made great contributions to Chu State and was awarded by He Shibi. Cui entered the "circulation channel". Later, Zhaoyang visited Chishan. There is a deep pool under Chishan Mountain. Zhaoyang is a person who likes to show off. He entertained guests in a tall building by the water pool and took out the jade for everyone to enjoy. According to the memories of the people present, a big fish suddenly jumped out of the pool, which was one foot big. The big fish also brought out a group of all kinds of small fish. Everyone thought it was strange, so they went to see the fish in the water. When everyone returned to the room full of praise, they found that Cai and Cai were gone! Zhaoyang was shocked and depressed. He suspected that the owner Zhang Yi had stolen it, and tortured poor Zhang Yi, desperately trying to find out the whereabouts of the baby. But it wasn't Zhang Yi who stole the lottery, and no matter how hard he fought, he couldn't beat Baoyu! As a result, Zhang Yi was tortured to death, recuperating from Chu to Wei, and finally going to Qin to help the Qin people make suggestions, specifically against the Chu people. Choi, and didn't get it back, but Chu has another sworn enemy.

Cui was actually stolen by someone else. Zhaoyang has a great influence in Chu State. After the theft, he offered a reward of $1,000 to trace the whereabouts of He Shibi. The wind was so tight that the thief could not "get rid of" He Shibi for a long time. Later, during the reign of Zhao Huiwen, He Shibi suddenly appeared in Handan, the capital of Zhao State. Miao Xian, the chamberlain, bought this treasure for only 500 gold, and she liked it very much. After Zhao Huiwen knew it, he repeatedly hinted that Miaoxian wanted to give Baoyu to himself. Miao xian just can't bear to part with it. The prince of Zhao was in a hurry and simply sent troops to Miao Xian's house to rob money. This incident made a big noise, and Zhao Xiang, the king of Qin in the west, knew about it. The king of Qin wrote a letter to the king of Zhao, saying that he was willing to exchange fifteen cities for Cui. At that time, Qiang Qin and Zhao Wei were weak, and Zhao Haoqi Huiwen was holding Baoyu in her arms, so anxious. Lin Xiangru, a servant, kept up the good times, which led to the story of "One Piece returned to Zhao". He Shibi was preserved in the court of Zhao for a long time. In 228 BC, Qin defeated Zhao, and Shi Bi fell into the hands of Qin people.

The tortuous fate of Hebi seems to indicate that the fate of the jade seal made of it is ill-fated. Qin Shihuang used it to make the supreme imperial seal, hoping that this symbol of imperial power would be passed down from generation to generation in the hands of the descendants who won the surname and protect the country forever. Unexpectedly, wishes are always beautiful and reality is always cruel. With the rapid demise of the Qin Dynasty, the jade seal created by He Shibi began to drift from place to place for 79 years, and finally disappeared, becoming a great historical mystery.

This is another legend. It is said that when Qin Shihuang visited Dongting Lake in 2 19 BC, the waves on the lake suddenly broke out, and Qin Shihuang's royal boat was about to be subverted by the waves. In desperation, Qin Shihuang threw the jade seal into the lake. Strangely, Dongting Lake was calm in an instant, and Qin Shihuang and his party were able to cross the lake safely. Eight years later, when Qin Shihuang visited Pingshu Road in Huayin, someone stood on the road with a jade seal and said to Qin Shihuang, "Give the jade seal back to Zulong." Say that finish, the man disappeared. Pass the decree back to Qin. This story was very helpful in shaping the glorious and great image of Qin Shihuang, so it was widely publicized by the Qin Dynasty. I think this is an official political lie.
