What is the origin and division basis of the name "Spring and Autumn and Warring States"?
Confucius compiled the Spring and Autumn Annals according to the history of Lu, so it has the word "Spring and Autumn Annals", and the Warring States period is an era when the three tribes divided into Jin and the seven chivalrous men competed for hegemony, so it is called the Warring States period. The Warring States Policy written by Liu Xiang in the Western Han Dynasty is a historical book that records the events in the Warring States Period.

Since the establishment of the Western Zhou Dynasty in Zhou Wuwang, the Zhou Dynasty has been divided into the Western Zhou Dynasty and the Eastern Zhou Dynasty with Zhou Ping and Dong Wang as the time axis. In the early years of Western Zhou Dynasty, under the rule of King Wu, King Cheng and Duke Zhou, the whole country was in a state of peace and stability. Later, Zhou Youwang launched a war to win the beauty, which eventually led to the invasion of Rong Di and the demise of the Western Zhou Dynasty.

After the demise of the Western Zhou Dynasty, the former Prince Yijiu succeeded Zhou Pingwang, and Ji Yijiu moved the capital from Haojing to Luoyang, so it was called the Eastern Zhou Dynasty and divided into two periods, one was the Spring and Autumn Period and the other was the Warring States Period. The two were divided into three parts, and then Qin destroyed the Eastern Zhou Dynasty and swept the six countries, ending the rule of the Zhou Dynasty and opening up a unified situation.

Confucius was a native of Shandong in the Spring and Autumn Period. He once studied under Laozi and advocated teaching students in accordance with their aptitude. He has 3000 disciples, among whom 72 saints are the most famous. Later, Confucius devoted himself to education and wrote a book about the Spring and Autumn Period. Later, according to the author's different understanding, three biographies, Ram, Gu Liang and Zuo Zhuan, were produced in the Spring and Autumn Period.

During the Spring and Autumn Period, although the governors fought for hegemony every year, they never conquered the country. Later, Han, Zhao and Wei were divided into Jin, which opened the Warring States period. Later, wuyue, Zhongshan, Shandong and Song were destroyed by the Seven Heroes of the Warring States, and the world was gradually unified. At this time, although it still belonged to the Zhou Dynasty, the Zhou Emperor existed in name only. Later, Qin Yan was eliminated and the whole country was unified. The Qin dynasty began and the warring States period ended.
