Where is the Cooperation Century Plaza?
Century Square in the center of the cooperative city is one of the highlights of large-scale urban transformation since the establishment of 1998 cooperative city. It was completed in June 2000 and put into use in June 2003. Now it has become a large-scale urban cultural square integrating leisure, entertainment and fitness. The whole square consists of circular road, music fountain, theme sculpture, light box lighting, garden and other parts. The square is 725m long and140m wide, with a total area of about 865438+100000 square meters. In 2004, it was awarded as "China Characteristic Cultural Square" by China Mass Culture Society and China Culture Newspaper. The completion of Century Plaza has undoubtedly enhanced the overall image and cultural taste of the cooperative city.

Century Square is roughly composed of three parts. The first part, that is, the core area of the square formed by the intersection of the two main axes, takes unity as the theme, which means that the people of all ethnic groups in Quanzhou are United as one. The venue is square with a side length of 100m, with 10 lanterns in the north and south, and a conch music fountain in the center of the venue. The music fountain has a radius of 7.8 meters, and the beautiful right-handed white snail gypsum sculpture is flawless. The white conch supported on the base of the Lotus Platform is inlaid with colorful Hada, as if fluttering in the wind. Lotus and white conch are auspicious treasures in Tibetan folklore, and colorful hada is a pure and sacred gift towel, which means auspicious, auspicious, peaceful, quiet, hardworking and intelligent cooperation. People of all ethnic groups will join hands to create a bright future for this plateau new city.

The second part, the "Plateau Pearl" area in the north of the square, is named after the steel sculpture "2 1 century Plateau Pearl". In the steel sculpture, two towering metal vertical bodies represent "1", like a silver arrow, which pierces the blue sky and forms the theme of 2 1 century with the "2" of the base. There is a golden stainless steel ball between the two parallel vertical bodies, which symbolizes that the cooperative city is like a bright pearl, embedded in the northeast edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and shining in the bright sunshine with clear skies. The two wings of the steel carving vertical body are attached with wings suspected of Kunpeng, and its striking in the sky indicates that the people of all ethnic groups in the cooperative city will continue to prosper and achieve a leap in the development wave of the plateau soul in 2 1 century. The overall design of steel sculpture has achieved the harmonious unity of strength and beauty, grace and lightness, and is very modern and interesting, creating different viewing points, breaking through a single horizontal form, enriching the skyline and adding artistic interest. By planting shrubs and pine trees, erecting pole lamps, coconut tree lamps and fireworks lamps, the "Pearl Area of Plateau" has formed a small open space with soft landscape.

In the north of the "Pearl of the Plateau" steel sculpture stands the white marble antelope stone carving. Exquisitely composed antelopes stopped to look out, as if through layers of historical fog, witnessed the collision between Tibetan culture and Tibetan culture in Gannan grassland since the Tang and Song Dynasties, and stared at Tibetan past lives.

The third part, the "Soul of the Plateau" area at the southern end of the square, with the yak statue of the "Soul of the Plateau" as the main scene, is equipped with more than 30 sets of fitness and entertainment equipment on the east and west sides, surrounded by shrubs and spruces, paved with lawns, and pole lights, coconut tree lights and fireworks lights symmetrical to the "Pearl of the Plateau" area, which are colorful and ups and downs, forming a changeable space environment, giving people a sense of "freedom". Known as the "boat on the plateau", the yak statue is realistic in shape, vigorous and majestic, with a resolute expression and a sense of vicissitudes, which embodies the perseverance and rough and heroic spirit of the children in the snowy area.

In 2008, a large-scale maintenance and renovation was carried out on the square. The white conch music fountain was placed on a platform about 3 meters above the ground, and layers of cement steps and slope protection were set around the edge, which made it more beautiful against the background of high clouds and distant mountains. At the same time, corridor flower stands were added at the north and south corners, the flower beds were raised by nearly one meter, and fragrant flowers were built around the redundant steps. The lawn is a gentle slope, dotted with tall pine trees and fir trees, and the falling rocks change and coordinate. The east and west compartments of the square are newly equipped with plastic lights and totem poles in the shape of "Rubik's cube", and are equipped with light boxes in the niche of eight treasures. From the overall planning and design point of view, this group layout, which stands close to the ground and spreads in all directions with sculpture as the center, has a strong national and regional sentiment and elegant artistic interest. The night is brightly lit, and the fire tree and silver flowers seem to dress up the cooperative city as a world of glass lamps.

Nowadays, every holiday is leisurely, people walk in the square in twos and threes, or help the old and bring the young, or couples hold hands. People breathe fresh air, taste the plateau scenery and historical humanities, and are quiet and simple in the distant border. There is no impetuous and crowded here. It is not only a place for citizens' fitness, leisure and entertainment, but also a place for holding various cultural activities and activities. The flowers, trees and sculpture facilities here are the perfect combination of nature and art, and there are songs and dances dancing here from time to time. This kind of singing and dancing is a tribute to happiness. You don't have to go far, Shambhala is in your heart.
