Yicheng is located in the northwest of Hubei Province, in the middle reaches of Hanjiang River. Suizhou and Zaoyang in the east, Zhongxiang and Jingmen in the south, Nanzhang in the west and Xiangyang in the north. It is located at11157'-12 45' east longitude and 3126'-3154' north latitude. It is 76 kilometers long from east to west and 53 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 2 1 15 square kilometers.
