Suzhou, known as Gusu and Pingjiang in ancient times, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province, an important city in Shanghai metropolitan area and Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou metropolitan area, one of the important central cities in the Yangtze River Delta approved by the State Council, a national high-tech industrial base and a scenic tourist city.

Suzhou City was founded on Saturday (5 14) with a history of more than 2,500 years.

Representatives of private gardens in China-Suzhou Classical Garden and Suzhou Section of China Grand Canal are listed as World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, and most scenic spots in Taihu Lake are located in Suzhou. In 2022, the GDP of Suzhou was 2,395.834 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.0%; Per capita GDP is 6.5438+0.86 million yuan.
