Is there a man named Tian Shan or Tian Dan in history?
Tian Dan, a native of Linzi (now northeast of Zibo), was a general in the Warring States Period. At the beginning, Tian Dan was a city official and was not famous. After Yan Jun captured Linzi, his family retreated to Jimo (now southeast of Pingdu, Shandong Province) to participate in Jimo defense work. Later, the chief of Jimo died in battle, and he was recommended as a general who stuck to Jimo. In 279 BC, Tian Dan used counter-measures to turn Wang into a general, defeated the Yan army with a fire bull array, and recovered more than 70 cities in one fell swoop, creating a famous war example at the end of the Warring States Period, and was appointed as the prime minister by King Qixiang and sealed the Anping army. In the first year of Qi Dynasty, that is, in 264 BC, he entered Zhao, was appointed Prime Minister, and sealed the capital.
